Another amazingly thorough DIY video filled with lots of tips and tricks to properly work on your BMW. These videos add so much value to the community! Love it.
Thanks for another great video Bryan! Gotta replace my rear bumper cover next week and needed some guidance. Your DIY videos are the best and most comprehensive! Thank you!
Your diffuser was delivered today! Thanks, Kies. I have a 2015 428i Msport and really hoping I don't have to remove the bumper to install... Will update
I can't thank you enough for this video. I just installed the BMW Diffuser on my 340i. If I had attempted this on my own without a guide like this I might have gotten it installed but I very likely would have broken something along the way. This guide was perfect (even down to the magnetic tray recommendation).
Thanks for the video, until I saw it I didn’t know there was a difference in the f30 pre/post Lci for fitting rear diffuser. Your vid was great help in removing the bumper for the new fitment and reinstall, even managed to get a dry day in sunny Scotland to do it! 😂 Thanks again.
So glad I saw this. I have a 2016 F30 335d that's in the shop at the moment. Need to check how the heat shield sits before I order an M-Performance rear diffuser. Might put it off until warmer weather if it requires bumper removal :)
Great vid very helpful,i'm from the UK and have an F31 330d m sport and fitted the diffuser without taking the bumper off which was very fiddly, after watching your great vid i think i'd have the balls to take the bumper off now.......
Great video bryan, unfortunately I could not wait for this to upload so I could follow along. I did not have any diffuser on my car at the time and had to pay triple for an OEM diffuser. aftermarket will always be tricky but the quality is not affected with the product. Gathering my pennies to get the front lip. Thanks
I have a 2015 435i msport with the m performance exhaust. Do I have to go through all this hassle to install a diffuser? Looks like pain in the rear...
Is there any significant difference between F30 and F31 front/rear bumpers? Some of the bumpers I've been looking at are posted as F30 whilst others say F31 estate. I have a 2015 F31 and wanted to switch to the M Sport bumpers. Any help would be kindly appreciated! Also great video btw! Il be using this as a guide when I convert mine
I bought a new diffusor but I can’t install it without removing the whole bumper… it won’t fit otherwise because I have dozens of heatshields there but I have a 335d pre lci strange 😅
Hi Brian, just bought a 340i 2018 and I am planning to install a rear diffuser, I have read that this diffuser is not compatible with my car year, do you know if this is true?

Just did this upgrade. Follow the steps in this video and everything Will be fine. Thanks to Kies motorsports

What year cars does the heat shielding show up in? LCI cars? Love all the videos. Very detailed.
if anyone is wondering 2016 appears to be the year they did the LCI's for the 3 series... my 2016 340i has the heat shielding
Thanks!

ONLY if you have the heat shielding right behind the bumper. if not then just follow his other diffuser video which does not require bumper removal.
I’ve got a 2014 335d and have those heatshields…
Great job! Would a 2015 435i need the bumper removed to install a diffuser?
great videos i like the way you show and explain ...awesome.....love beamers....i have a 13 328i luxury

Did you have to code those lights in bro? I want them but here in the UK people say they need coding to get both indicators to work?
👍regards from Poland!

Thank you for video! Can you also make a video how to remove front bumper and side skirts? :D
If you watch our headlight video we do the bumper 😀
Kies Motorsports see it now 👍
Hi bryan, I just broke one of my 8 milimeter bolt and I don't know how to remove it . Do you have any idea?
Thanks
Amazing!! Awesome job bro!!
I have 2016 f33 428i and im looking into doing some mods..
We're here to help!
6:03 what is that for, Brian ?
Is it only necessary to remove the bumper to create a diffuser?
does the f30 335i rwd come with a lsd???
I was going to install a carbon fiber rear diffuser on my 2017 540i. I wonder if its the same procedure. Thanks
Yep!
Excellent guide - thanks v much :-)
can u try to install lsd to 328i??
I tried without taking off the bumper on my 340......impossible. Can't even get the oem on again.
New subscriber, great video.
Nice vids bro! But I think music's too loud
Hi, may I ask you where to get that rear bumper part? Mine was crashed
Www.kiesmotorsports.com 👍🏼
Is this similar to 435i?
are u getting those LCI taillights for your car?:)
lol ;)
Nice!
Seems like a lot of work.
You don't actually need to remove the rear bumper to install the diffuser.
Only with cars with the newer heat shielding. It blocks access to where you need to get to to fully clip it in 👍🏼
