    Although it's almost hidden, *ClipStudioPaint* has all the blending modes available when making a brush. Thanks for making your Photoshop brushes available!

    • @seanpaints

      it does??? I could only find layer blending modes!

    • @TheKevphil
      @TheKevphil 7 років тому +4

      Choose a brush to paint with. Then go to *Window>Sub Tool Details* (Alt-D) where you'll find it under *Ink>Blending Mode* If you click the Eye Icon, you will then see this option in the *Tool Property* palette.

    The best and most informative brush videos I've seen >> many thanks for all these! A question for you: if loading your tool presets, where exactly is Photoshop finding the textures required if they're not also loaded into the patterns folder? Are your textures/patterns used in your brushes available elsewhere?

    Most people would either use arbviewer or abrmate (which i use btw) so if you wish to use it, do it boro (i do recomend abrmate.) I used the program and added in clip studio paint. done to two arists of mine i like. I will check up your brushes (PNGs) to see which one i like to use in clip studio paint.

    Thanks a lot!
    I wasn't able to paint single picture before I downloaded your brushes - now I have only one your brush (I mean alpha - and ) and paint every painting with it. Even David Revoy's brushes - "standard Krita external brushes" ;) - doesn't what I wanted them to do.
    (The universal brush alpha is Juvenile A, but I think I might have reduced opacity by duplicating layer. I painted with it alien ants for the contest and even official poster for my engineer degree exam :P )
    (And I can't make alpha by myself - I tried your "potato" method and "make a few dots and save" method from internet and it didn't work as I wanted...).
    And Borodante, could you explain more what are the functionality Krita doesn't have? I mean there are options like "softness" and "hardness" (yes, separately) and "Bristle" brush, which does strange things with brush alphas, and... I just want to know if it is something I would miss ;) (I can't afford and simply don't want to pay for Photoshop at this level of my art... ).

  • @mluminoth6379

    Just in time! I was beginning to think of why your brushes behave a little differently than i see in the videos. And its because you have very consistent pressure when doing sketches. I was confused and thought the brush had opacity control turned off.

    How do you decide the direction of the motion blur when making a smooth version of one or your brushes? I have a similar issue with a brush I made for myself where the bristle spacing sometimes create a spotting effect that motion blur would probably fix.

    • @kas8ia

      He names them after movie characters. Probably from movies he likes for example: akira and tetsuo are 2 main characters from the movie AKIRA, p cool if you've watched the movie

    How can I tilt my brushes like that?

    • @zoevoss1672
      @zoevoss1672 7 років тому

      Criss Popovski it depends on the graphic tablet and pen. Wacom has a Tilt pen which as it says, tilts. This one only works with their Cintiq tablet. I don’t know if you are able to use a tilt pen with a tablet like the Intuos.

    • @crisspopovski4731
      @crisspopovski4731 7 років тому

      Thanks, i thought is somehow possible even with a Intuos.

    • @Sammus7t
      @Sammus7t 6 років тому

      Criss Popovski
      Intuos Pro does support tilt. You can also buy the Art Pen separately to use with the Intuos Pro, which gives you rotation in addition to tilt.
      None of the non-Pro Intuos tablets have those capabilities.

      The statement was where are no other program with as many blend modes, Corel has more. Or does this fact hurt you masculinity? So you have to resort to bias flaming? I use both Corel painter and photoshop from personal experience I have, photoshop have way more crashes (mainly then using liquify) and almost never on Corel painter. The only way you can experience a crash in Corel painter(2016,2017v) if you messing or messed around your with program settings without any knowledge what you are doing.
