As someone who is currently playing Xenoblade Definitive Edition and has only just unlocked dunban, I can safely say that this video is completely spoiler free Because by the time the video reaches that part, everything goes so fast you can barely even tell what you are currently looking at.
No, he usually mentions the Monado when using Activate Monado, with the quote "This is the Monado's power!" on activation, and with "Monado... Buster!" I genuinely don't remember the second Monado art you start with, however I'm pretty sure the only one he specifically mentions the Monado in is Buster, and at the end of the battle, he can also say "The power of the Monado...
I was only mentioning the two you start with, also ty i forgot it was enchant you start with, havent played in years. He said a "single battle" so considering that, you could say you would hear it from only enchant and buster, since you dont get access to purge cyclone shield speed or eater til later on.
but he doesn't say "monado" just by using monado arts, he also says things like "behold the power of the monado" "this is the monado's power" "this is the monado's power", and lets not forget that other characters also mention the monado when shulk is active
The wonderful thing about an exponential curve is just how fast it blows up. Assuming 257 mentions (from log_1.05(292000) = 257.9) and assuming they're uniformly distributed over the 10 hours (2.3 minutes between Monados), it should take 22 minutes to reach 2x speed, another 11 minutes to reach 4x, another 5.5 minutes to reach 8x, etc. Proceeding in this manner, you will reach a vertical asymptote at 46.6 minutes, and the distance between Monados will be less than 0.00048 seconds. Math, bitches!
And in this video this effect is made even nore extreme as monado is said way more late and middle game then endgame which is why more then half of this video is chapter 1
You can pause the video and use the comma and period keys to go frame by frame. And yes, the entire second half of the game really is shown in the last few seconds.
I only ever got as far as Sword Valley and possibly the 1st area on the Mechonis on the 3DS version and as far as Melia's city on the Wii version. I saw Sword Valley's title card in those last 10 seconds. There's a whole other titan to explore aaaand it's gone in 5 seconds. But this is just cutscenes and no gameplay. I assume the 2nd half of the game would have lasted a lot more than 10 seconds if this was an average time full playthrough.
I don't like how my playthrough of the game is already at like 30:01 in this video. That means I got only 3 minutes of the story and cutscenes left to play and dive into. Pretty disgusted at the Xenoblade fans and community to see everyone lie about game being so long and great.
honestly feel bad for dunban, both of his war buddies ended up betraying him working for differnt higher antagonists he had no idea about, i wonder what mumkhars reaction would be if he found out dickson was an even bigger douche than he was
They say Monado so much at Prison Island that everything after Prison Island was condensed into the last 10 seconds. It's hard to keep up even if you slow the video down to 0.25
This makes for a novel way to illustrate to your kids the power of compound interest. Crazy that it's already in the final minute of the video by the time Melia is introduced. It was apparent later in the video that the speed was a matter of approximation techniques, but it illustrates the point.
I decided to pause randomly a couple of times at the lightspeed segment, and I just wanted to say that I appreciate that you included the Melancholy Tyrea cutscenes
Lol, for real? That actually is kind of surprising, would've thought one of the main enemy types of the game would've been said close to as much. I guess the Monado is the one true blade.
A nine-month-old video, now I have a challenge, of some sorts. Condense all the Xenoblade Chronicles X Cutscenes into a single video, and, any time the words: "Ganglion," "Luxaar," or "Vita" are mentioned, it should get faster.
I mean, I imagine you'd be doing this drinking challenge while you play the actual game, so that's 139 shots spread out over quite a few days. Unless you're marathoning the game, in which case you will pass out quite soon.
Hesusio Um.... Riki not want to be rude, but have you played the game? Riki has several very serious scenes in the story (especially on the Fallen Arm). Riki is often played for laughs but is shown to be an excellent father (albeit poor husband according to his debts and Oka's words) and incredably supportive of everyone erlse in the party. In a lot of waus he's similar to Reyn, as both are played for comic relief while having very serious moments in the story, just one is homs and the other is Nopon, having each races quirks. Not trying to say your opinion is wrong Riki just doesn't get it.
The scene when Dunban is being brought back to colony 9 in the flashback is literally just voices that if I didn't know any better belonged in an Alvin and the chipmunks cartoon.

>A whole bloody 2/3 of the video is just the PROLOGUE
>Then it all goes to hell
I was not prepared to relive this emotional journey all at the same time, my head hurts a bit after the intense focus the last 10 minutes took.
Just like the Bee Movie one
then the last minute is half the game
Whale one more like till 777
Yup. Couldnt tell a thing about what was happening past sword valley.
When you max out Monado Speed
RLYFLNGIT

"But it's impossible to get back to the Military District in only 40 seconds."
It will be by the end of this video
...44 seconds
Finally, I can experience the entire Xenoblade storyline in a reasonable amount of time.
PTp1ranha gotem
Yeah...
PTp1ranha THIS MONADS SPEED HAS SAVED ME SO MUCH TIME
Yeah now the story at the end is only 3 hours
It’s only 10 hours worth of cutscenes
As someone who is currently playing Xenoblade Definitive Edition and has only just unlocked dunban, I can safely say that this video is completely spoiler free
Because by the time the video reaches that part, everything goes so fast you can barely even tell what you are currently looking at.
its like having a vision
14:37
Dunban:'But now I'm almost well enough to handle the Monado again'
Fiora:'Dunban, don't say that you'll make the game go even faster'
*high pitched toned*
WHY WOULD YOU SAY THAT
*Stupid beast!*
The videoplayer can't take anymore of the Monado!
*[Goes even faster]*
One can tell just by looking at it!
This made me laugh far harder than it shouldve
Right?! Same here!
Anyone read this with Dickson voice?
That moment when practically half the games cut scenes are suddenly condensed into 30 seconds.
Solura should have been 44 seconds.
I counted 7 seconds.
The Emporer dies 9 seconds before the end of the video, not even half of the way through the game lol
Then Sword Valley to the Credits are in 6 seconds.
From “let the shackles be released” at 33:22 it condenses the mechonis half of the story in 11 seconds.
If you were to show a single battle from after Shulk got the monado, the video would last 30 seconds
Sukiida even less XD
No, he usually mentions the Monado when using Activate Monado, with the quote "This is the Monado's power!" on activation, and with "Monado... Buster!" 30 minutes in: not even halfway through.33 minutes in: hey, this is the final boss
Power of exponential.
With literally 1 minute left, it wasn’t halfway in. In fact, I’m pretty sure over half the game is compressed into 10 seconds
fukcing christ, Colonel Vangarre's voice sped up is great
Also, 25:26, they're not even out of Colony 9 yet
Alex Parra

He sounds like Eric Cartman XD
...we already lost sound
I love how whenever they're in the lab and "Monado" is uttered, you can definitely hear the video speed up.
just the whir off the machines progesivly getting more intence untill the audio cuts
Around the last 30 seconds I thought it was gonna stop at Prison Island. Can't believe you showed around 5 hours of cutscenes in like 10 seconds...
Monado Max
THAT WAS LIKE 5 SECONDS
"Monado lend us your power! Accelerate time a thousand fold!"
Foresight is broken, pls nerf.
The last 3 hours of the storyline are in the last 2 seconds of the video
i seriously thought it stopped around prison island until i started pausing the video near the end and saw Zanza dual wielding the fucking Monado's.
You can pause the video and use the comma and period keys to go frame by frame. And yes, the entire second half of the game really is shown in the last few seconds.

They probably meant that those three minutes would feel pretty long.
Still three minutes, though.

Even played at increasingly stupid speeds, the soundtrack is still fucking godly
When the audio is so high-pitched the program can't handle it anymore and the rest of the video is silent
33:27 about the half way mark.
Watching Dickson survive a mechon claw to his back makes a lot of sense in hindsight
honestly feel bad for dunban, both of his war buddies ended up betraying him working for differnt higher antagonists he had no idea about, i wonder what mumkhars reaction would be if he found out dickson was an even bigger douche than he was
They say Monado so much at Prison Island that everything after Prison Island was condensed into the last 10 seconds. It's hard to keep up even if you slow the video down to 0.25
It was all part of Zanza's plan
The last 40 seconds felt like having one of Shulk's visions
Xenoblade Chronicles but for every second the Monado is on-screen, it gets 1% faster.
The fight towards the end but every time they say “ you will pay for your insolence” it slows down
The colonel's light speed rage is beautiful
Never in my life have both the words Monado and Ganglion shook me until this video.
Now we need videos for every time they say 'Ganglion' in XCX and every time they say 'Aegis' in XC2.

24:23 when it gets so fast and high pitched that the audio cuts out. Is this the case for everyone else?
Ethan Schmidt for me (on my old Ipad ) it is the case but I think with a powerful enough PC, the sound might not cut off... Not sure tho
24:25
Ethan Schmidt Yep.
Ig that may be bc of how video compression works, it cuts out frequencies that humans wouldn’t regularly need to hear to save on data space
22 minutes in i'm like no way...
and then the game ends
24:06 Just listen
Makes me want to hear all of Shulk's screams chipmunked.

The Prologue song surprisingly still sounds amazing sped up
I knew that, not even with the verbal frequency of "Monado", could Xenoblade be contained to half an hour XD
It made it to the end. I froze the video at 2 seconds before the end and saw Egil on the ground with a line about sharing the same pain.
The reality of what’s happening here really hits when it’s over 30 minutes in and the game is still in the Ether Mines

Of course. What's happened to the Falchion, by the way? :P
It’s crazy, it was still at the beginning of the game and the video looked mostly done, but it really was the entire game
