i have some things that i really don't like about the rg405m. 1. the damn screen oversharpening. i know this can be fixed with another OS, but it should work right out of the box. 2. the sticks are soo sensitive, on nintendo 64 it is almost impossible to play a shooter like perfect dark, at least it's not fun and so much worse than on an original n64 controller 3. the 4 buttons on the right side sometimes stick in the metal body. this gets much worse when you play something like mario when you have to hold one button pressed for running and click the other button for jumping. all this combined makes me regret buying this model. i know it is a retro handheld and not some ps5 flagship console, but for that much money, too many flaws in my book.
Another consideration is which games do you want to play. For 16 bits era games it's probably too expensive. For PS2/Gamecube games the screen format might not be good enough.
Now I can get a lot of the final fantasy games. Pixel remaster 1-6, ff7 8 9 android, 10 12 through emulation, 13 through Xbox game pass, 15 pocket edition through android
Hey can you suggest good handheld for retro + android games such as mobile legends ! I would love to have such a handheld !!! Anyways nice review , also would love to know ur views on KT-R1 handheld
£150 quid then , why didn't you say that from the beginning ? 😊 Not the cheapest but good competion to the latest Retroid 3+ so it might come down to taste I guess. The OS and brightness are big factors in the choice, after price. And whichever comes with preinstalled games gets my instant preverence.
All good valid points, the brightness is not much of a big deal but I did aspect better viewing angles, the os does need to catch up a bit to that of retroid.
Great handheld. Pre install front end is Horrendous thoe. Love it ❤
Yeah I agree man , I so they will update the front end slowly handheld by hand held
@Right Sprite Retro Gaming UK It's horrible to add, Remove games and add art work. Installed Launchbox. Super easy. Set it all up straight away.
swap to 1080@50, that should stop the flicker from your LED, if not also change the shutter speed.
Oh right nice one man , appreciate the onfo
I prefer the retroid pocket 3 plus metal edition but the price exceeded what I consider the budget range.
Looks awesome
It is a great looking device , just some tweaks needed ,as always with these handhelds

Majority in PS2 and GC are 4:3 but I'm personally a big fan of the windscreen hacks
It's literally the perfect screen for PS2/gamecube, 4:3 and 640x480...are you retarded or something?
@@club_rock you better buy this one > Anbernic RG300X (Neo Geo CD is weak)

Would like to get my hands on the KT R1 but not likely anytime soon due to budget. But the Rp3 plus has been serving me very well.
Where do you get this Pocket für the anbernic?
That will be my OG psp case.

Hello
This Anbernic is it good as a Retroid P3+
or even better ?
What are the systems available ?
Oof good question the built quality of the anbernic is the best when it comes to it, but functionality and stable os goes to the retroid.
What’s the game playing at 5:20 ?
I want to know this as well
It's Huntdown
Hey I got a new SD card for my 405m, what format do I need to set it to?
Sounds fine the format it came with NTFS
I wonder if it runs 50 Cent Bulletproof smoothly for ps2
