At last we're regaining some credibility. I'll take the heartbreak of a close loss over the continual thumpings we were copping week after week. We're still carrying a few list cloggers and can't stop a run on when they happen, but we're clearly improving. Proud of the effort and commitment we've seen over the last three weeks.
Happy for you and other Roos fans! I have also felt recent pain barracking for the Eagles. Take the small wins where you can!

Even though North narrowly fell short at the end, it is evident that throughout the past few weeks the Roos have shown promising signs. Melbourne nearly let that game drop from their grasp at the end though as I personally felt that they were trying to save the game too early.

Much improvement, but it is still disappointing that North’s senior players let them down in critical moments of close games.

Great to see the Kangas finally playing with heart. Something they lacked throughout the year. Need to move the ball quicker rather than standing back allowing other teams to flood their defense. Otherwise proud of the footy weve played the last few weeks. Go Roos!!
After seeing Hawthorne & North Melbourne get good results recently, it looks like they were right all along -:
Get rid of most of the older players, apart from two or three standouts, so that the younger players can learn from them...
Focus on getting as many talented, inexperienced players as you can, so that you can train them the right way right off the bat...

For the past 3 weeks my heart rate has been getting about 200 average (jk). Idk what was going through simpkins mind at the end when he soccered it off the ground he could’ve picked it up and thrown it on the boot and could’ve kicked wht fisher dident last week.

Yet another holding the ball decision (lack thereof) that decides a game. When you go to kick the ball but hesitate and pull the ball back into yourself and get tackled, that means you had prior opportunity but didn’t take it. Clear holding the ball free kick.
I know we don’t base a whole game on one decision, but it’s happening far too often now.
I’m a Dees supporter. I don’t care how my team plays during the game as long as we win it; that’s the aim of the game.
