14:15 Formats live or die not because of the top decks but because of the people who shape their community. This is a solid statement of yours that sums up the real reason to play a cardboard game like YGO to begin with. Thanks for sharing it.
I can't claim to be a long-time watcher, and am more of a casual goat format enjoyer. But, I've really enjoyed your videos, and feel they explore topics in a well-rounded and level-headed manner (Edison vs. Goat etc.). I'm sorry to hear about all the drama that has gone on in the background. I appreciate your efforts into expanding the format, and am happy to hear that your life outside of goats is thriving and brings you joy and fulfillment. It sounds like you have a solid understanding of what is important to you in this moment, and I wish you all the best!
This channel has been a huge influence on my growth as a Yu-Gi-Oh player, I've learned a lot from your videos and advice. Best of luck to you in whatever your future holds
Your videos were the foundation for me getting into Goat Format as a serious hobby, and your insights are a big inspiration on how to approach the game. Thanks for the impact you’ve had! I am happy to hear you may still upload here and there. Also, I didn’t know Void deleted his channel, that’s sad to hear. I also liked him.
Your stances for leaving this gig full time are more than understandable. I'll stay subscribed for those gold nuggets you'll release every couple months. Thanks for all the informative content you've made over the years.
Who tf is skully? Sounds like a bully to me. We only had you and JDZ. Now it’s just JDZ, and that man been carrying goat format. Well, have fun bud. People grow out of hobbies. We’ll always welcome you back with open arms.
Gimme your unfinished code. I'll finish the project while mentionning you as the original creator. You can review it before it's released to make sure we do not release something clunky. Like I told you before I work in the space and have nothing else to do anyway. This is not a joke, a lot of people would love a goat format simulator. If you're not interrested we will have to start from scratch. Sinnse
Hey, Allen. Void here - thank you for your kind words and encouragement. It really means a lot. I'm glad that I got the opportunity to help your channel out albeit for a short period, and I'm glad that I got to experience making Goat Format content, although that was short lived as well. I'm also sorry to hear that you'll be moving away from the simulator and channel, but I totally get you. The truth behind why I deleted my UA-cam channel actually shares a lot in common with some key points you mentioned in your video. This niche just isn't one to really try expanding your horizons with and having UA-cam as a platform to share your cool, new deck ideas once in a while seems like the best mentality to have. The problem is, it can be discouraging broadcasting your ideas to a small audience, and you may oftentimes find yourself asking why you're doing it in the first place. The other thing to consider is that if you try to force a schedule on yourself or try to constantly come up with new ideas, it sort of ruins the hobby for you, or at least it was doing that for me. This is the main reason why I decided to delete my channel, although maybe it would've been better to keep it as an archive. Oh, well. Regarding negative comments, I never got fazed by them but they did remind me that while Goat Format is still as awesome as it's always been, there's only so much content and new topics to keep talking about apart from tournament coverage which gets stale. And while I've never been a top player or had the proper schedule/time to compete, I don't like casual play either and making such deck profiles was very boring and tedious for me. Anyway, this comment's been long enough. I wish you all the best moving forward!
Hello Void! I remembered randomly encountering your videos when you were starting out (under the Bugroth Mk 3 handle I think) and thought they were really well done! I was looking for one of your videos (Water Reasoning) but was sad to see that the account no longer existed. I recall reading on Discord on how your account was accidentally deleted. In any case, I hope you stick around in the goat community one way or another!
You got me into the format so I wanted to say thank you for that and a few other things. What comes across clearest in your videos is a mastery of the format - not just in your replay videos but your analysis and tactical discussions. That's impressive and it's what made me instantly interested in the channel. I should also say Void's stuff was good too, it's a shame people were as negative as you described. All that said, I think it's very cool of you to make the decisions you are around this. It's a shame, but ultimately it is good to listen to yourself. if you aren't enjoying something like you thought you would. I'm glad you've found positive relationships in Cambodia, you're right to recognize the importance and value of those relationships and turn your focus towards them. Seriously, you put out awesome stuff and it will still be awesome even if your focus is elsewhere
Hi, Im building a full functional duel disk model at school, my hope is to implement XR and do full scale duels. Your project definitely has inspired me so far and I think that there is a lot of people who would be willing to help work on it if more people were informed. The only reason I know is because I was told at a GOAT tourny.
I got into Goat format a couple months ago and when I was learning all the rules and interactions I found your videos. Thanks for the content, I’m still hopeful that we can have the community you wished for. Good luck.
I actually know a computer programmer who plays goats. He was working on a dueling sim like 14 years ago and actually built a working app on his own. I can ask him if he's interested if you'd like. At any rate, thank you for all your hard work and God bless, brother.
Thank you for all the work you've put in cultivating interest in this great way to play Yu-Gi-Oh! You've really kept me coming back to this format over the past few years and no doubt I'll be looking out for any new videos you drop. Take care of yourself ACP
Thank you for all of your awesome videos and contributions, ACP. I have enjoyed your content for over a year and will sincerely miss waiting for your future content. I wish you the best in all of your goals and dreams in life. Many blessings and much health for you, your family, and loved ones. Amen.
I've been lurking this channel for some time now, and just wanted to say I've really enjoyed these videos and understand your reasons. You are clearly very passionate for the game but it is fine to enjoy it just as that, a game to have fun with. Take care and good luck!
ChoosenOne - Edison would appreciate your content creation. After your edison video, I completely swapped to that format. Goat meh rn, specially with this kind of people running the community. Your videos helped me go from beginner to top 5th ladder in my first ladder run. Ty
Nobody is obliged to create content and your decision is respected,i am not sure about the drama and it's always good to listen to both sides but there is always drama in such communities, the only thing i know and have seen is that some time ago Skully was a bit toxic and annoying on a live stream against JDZ.I am kind of sad for Jinzo & Tonic because he was doing a great job.Best of luck onto your life and if you get any inspiration don't forget us.
Fuck players like that, seriously. Goat format on db is filled with trolls. Just makes that victory that much sweeter when people are talking that trash. So immature.
Thanks man! I was trying my best but sadly the toxic nature of everything took away my fun and drive for the game but I hope you continue to enjoy the game for many years to come 😊
I'm just a casual so i'm pretty surprised to see how deep all this drama goes. I hope you still continue to make videos commentating duels and talking about decks you cooked up. Those topics are my favorite. I still use a slightly modified version of your somewhat recent goat control deck and I've learned so much from seeing you break down duels.
I’m sorry that your experience has been bad. I’m new to goat format and trying to learn the ends and out cuz I’m not excited for new Yugioh. I hope that the community gets better and I hope goat format can thrive cuz this is the Yugioh that I miss the most and I hope that more ppl join so it can become even better

Are you going to give 2011 a try?
I gave it a try about 12 years ago. I think I'm going to give 2024 a try in a couple of weeks.
I’m just gonna tell it like it is. Goat Format to me gets Stale.
❤️
Thar sucks to hear. Your content was awesome. That's why it sucks that everyone is doing youtube as a business instead of uploading videos for fun anymore.
Now Galactic God has to come back or I have no reason to keep playing yugioh
Yeah, play Edison format instead. It’s much less toxic.
It's equally toxic lol
I’m different ways… quicker wackier games. Just for some reason goat players love to talk smack, I thank E3 for fostering the Edison community in a positive direction.
my guy uploads once a month and complains about lack of tangible rewards XD
