Thanks for the video. I inherited my dad's 2001 Gmc Sierra and the passenger side was bent. The tailgate had a hard time shutting and staying shut. This is whaymt I needed to see. 👍👍

I have the 2007 Silverado that does not have the bolt-on hinge hardware on the tailgate. The bed hardware is bolt-on. I would do a full tailgate hardware kit if you have one.

I have a 2002 dodge Dakota and the knobs were welded on, but they rusted through, so you think I could just grind down some of the rust and just screw in one of the replacement knobs

Mine are stripped and the don’t tighten. The actual hole is stripped
