DeSantis should not be running now; but the fact that he is, suggests he is being goaded by the Republican establishment to serve as an alternative to Trump. If that's the case, this may result in unrepairable damage to the DeSantis brand.

I can’t help but think that when he abandoned his post and travelled to meet with world leaders he lost his mind. Why would he do something so foolish and destroy what was a very promising career? The White House would been his in 28.

I believe that he is smart enough to know that he would not beat Trump. I think that like the rest in the race, they are competing for the Vice Presidential seat, which will be a great advance for DiSantis to get his foot there, waiting for the 2028 race for the Presidency. He will ha a greater chance then with 4 year experience acquired as Trump’s Vice-President. That is if Trump does not go for the third favorite Tim Scott.😊

As much as I love President Trump and support him and plan to vote for him, he needs to have people around him when he Tweets. Hurting Kaylee and The Governor the other day did not go well. These are The Presidents friends who will close ranks behind him if he doesn't alienate nthe, with unkind words. A little debate is healthy. President Trump knows this and needs to apologize for the mean Tweet.
