It's interesting that they still haven't figured out who Palpatine is. I mean, to the Western world this was obvious because we're already familiar with the sequels. We've been spoiled. Which is great as now that actually becomes a huge reveal by the next movie.
When we were watching the prequels as they were written in the 90s we pretty much knew that Palpatine was going to be the Emperor because they had the same name at that point... but we always discussed the possibility that Lucas would pull some sort of twist where the actual Palpatine was a clone, bodysnatcher or not the real Palpatine or some shennanigans where he would try to twist it to trick the audience. Kind of like how he made Vader Luke's father out of the blue for the audience. Also, before some of the novels, I'm not sure when the name Palpatine or Senator Palpatine was actually revealed to the general audience in general media. I remember a speculation video on the clone wars which showed Mandalorians fighting the jedi in a huge battle and it turned out to be the opposite. We didn't even know it would be a clone army and that perhaps the Emperor or someone else would be a clone and start a war.
I liked Babu's song for mothers. That was really sweet. I think these guys are going to enjoy the rest of the movies, even if some of them have difficulty following along. I love how Babu always appreciates the beauty of Nature, too. ❤
It's great to watch people's raw reactions to these films that aren't tainted by our cultural conversation. Honest, pure reaction from people who has their mind blown by the awesome art that George Lucas's imagination gave to the world.
Definitely. As a westerner who was brought up on the original trilogy, I found the prequels kind of missed the mark in a lot of ways. Like so much potential in the story but sort of ruined by some dodgy acting, over ambitious CGI, etc. So it’s cool seeing this from a complete outsiders perspective, and fundamentally the story beats land, as they always did and could have, were it not for my super critical eye lambasting at what could have been with a bit more care and attention. And I still kind of wish we’d seen Leonardo Dicaprio play Anakin… I think it would have elevated the films and made all the romance stuff land better. Frankly anakin is just “too” much of a creep in episode 2 especially.
Agreed.. It woulda been interesting to see Leo as Ani. But also I feel the script would've had to be crisper. BUT! Love the movies anyway=)@@DavidHunter
Well, that was quite a wait - thank you so much for continuing it! Hope the next part will be soon ;) Also, once more, talking about clones (and considering they have seen Jurassic Park), I think they should get some more in-depth information (over at Common Man Show) how genetics work and what genetic engineering can - and will be expected to - do.
There reaction to Yoda taking out his lightsaber to duel Dooku, brought me back to the first time I ever saw it in theaters. I was a kid and just an average fan of Star Wars, and at that moment, when Yoda took out his lightsaber, the silent fixated audience went BERSERK with roaring cheers and applause, it was like an eruption. I'll never forget it. I realized for the first time how special this story was to people. I became a lifelong fan that day.

The dynamic between Anakin and Obi in the first act is so well done it just makes me want more. Like they should create a series just about their adventures between episodes 1 and 2. Anakin saved Obi's life a bunch of times right? It would be great to see some of those times as well as just that cool dynamic of overly talented prodigy student and his master who is like his brother and who initially started the training out of a promise but eventually came to really love ani. Their banter and their skill means you could put them up against literally anything and they could handle it in a fun way
There are quite a few books and a few tv series that go deep into their relationship. You'd do well to check them out I'd say. Many of the books are for children/young adults but for simple lore and engaging with the characters they should do the job, they're canon(the canon that matters). All of the clone wars shows go into this as well. And i can't forget the comics, which err on the side of Young Adult to Adult(somewhere in between) and are great storytelling.
@@thedappermagician6905 Thanks I'll look into the books. I have read a few star wars novels and enjoyed them. But as a side note I don't think clone wars tv show counts. But yeah, hopefully some of the novels you mentioned show some of the times he saved Obi's life.

The reason why Jar Jar's wearing higher class clothes is because, after the Battle of Naboo, he was promoted to representative and the critters Jango Fett used to try and kill Padme are called kouhun, a highly venomous species of arthropod native to the planet Indoumodo (look it up in the Wookiepedia) and Obi-Wan's a lot more like a big brother to Anakin P.S. Our villager friends seem to have adventures through movies and I love how their jaws keep dropping! P.S.S. The 'crab' is actually an acklay, an insectlike reptile from Vendaxa, the red bull-like beast is a reek also reptilian from Ylesia, and the catlike beast is a nexu from Cholganna (like I said, look it up) plus this movie is the start of a long three year war called the Clone Wars (the cartoon series tell us a lot about what happened during that time period btw) which happens before Revenge of the Sith but I'm giving no spoilers for what's gonna happen in the third movie and Yoda was 870 years old (basically an old man and was nowhere near a kid) at the time this one and ultimately lived up to 900 by the time of the sequel movies Note: Sorry for the rant
In this part of the story, Anakin is dealing with many emotions, loss, love, fear, anxiety. He chooses to reject his master's advice and deal with them his way, which leads him down a dark path. A war not on one country or even one world but a war on many many worlds.

I feel like a kid again when watching their reaction to Yoda's lightsaber duel. reminds me of the first time I saw it.
YES! Thank you so much for continuing this series!!
I love when Babu sings. It brings me joy.
It's interesting that they still haven't figured out who Palpatine is. I mean, to the Western world this was obvious because we're already familiar with the sequels. We've been spoiled. Which is great as now that actually becomes a huge reveal by the next movie.
Yes, in last video i was arguing with someone that chronological order is the best for get more surprises.
@@adamnesico Except maybe for the "I am your father" scene
@@Anthyrion yes, that one is lost.
But you imagine how many surprises are lost in the prequels by the release order?
@@adamnesico That's true. They would know, that Palpatine is the evil one in the movies
I am just imagining what it would be like to watch this in the cinema with these 3 gents in the row behind.
Hope the next part will be soon ;)
Also, once more, talking about clones (and considering they have seen Jurassic Park), I think they should get some more in-depth information (over at Common Man Show) how genetics work and what genetic engineering can - and will be expected to - do.
You need to get these three to react to all the Star Wars movies, this is too good lol
there is no kk
35:12 "Uncle has arrived" 😂
It was sweet they thought of Boba Fett at the end. We shall watch his career with great interest.
These guys never disappoint! Great reaction.
Right beautiful
Always good to see you guys are doing well. Keepnup the good work 👏
Thank you so much! For this second part i can't wait for the other Star War movie.
The Force is strong in these guys! They've really grown on me, especially when they clap during their favorite scenes. One thing...someone tell them that Earth isn't part of the Star Wars universe!
I've loved watching these guys watch star wars. Really looking forward to episode III :)
These reactions are the only ones I watch from beginning to the end. Those guys are such pure souls ☺️
So cool to see them, but especially Raeen, enthralled with this movie series. When he learned there are multiple parts, not just 3 I saw his inner excitement and I thought it was very endearing.
Yessss I’m so glad to see the honest reactions of the same people as well as their 😮faces on seeing the movies of this series!
42:35 i remember at the theater with a friend, were like"no what old yoda think he can do". When he began to fight, we just started to shout out of amazement. We could NEVER, as the guy said here, imagine Yoda coud fight that way
I love that you love Star Wars.
Just constant smiles watching people see it for the first time.
Homie in the middle loving JarJar this much just makes my day 😊
Something so wholesome about you guys reacting to this. Hope you enjoyed!! 😊
I love their reactions to the Star War Movies, brings joy in my heart to see them enjoy a movie that brings the child out of me when i first saw this movie in AWE! seeing their reactions made me happy for them! These guys are now TRUE STAR WARS FANS!! like the rest of us!!
39:06 I love their reaction to the IG-227 hailfire droid, it's just really charming to me.
Babu: If you can't breathe, why are you sitting near her....ROFL
Its a great show but I was talking about adventures from when Obi wan was actually training Anakin and he was still pretty young. But yeah, hopefully some of the novels you mentioned show some of the times he saved Obi's life.
I absolutely love how some of the most hated SW characters seem to be their favorites 🥺
My family love your videos. After Sunday church we sit down to watch your videos. Sending you lots of love from America
I love watching these guys reactions, it's so interesting to see
You deserve way more subs
Always love it when uncle Babu drops another song at the end! Keep them comming!
Yooo, homie could sing at the end, really nice lyrics that song had. Great vid and reaction, keep it up!!! Can't wait to see their reaction for episode 3.
Watching the three wise men drinking their tea collectively; I almost cried cos they're so cute xx
I love these so much. After watching their reactions I had to watch all the movies again. I can't wait to watch them react to 3 and I hope they see 4-6 as well.
I always love these three and their reactions, but especially the Star Wars reactions. I hope they will continue with all the movies in the franchise and I'll be here to enjoy each and every reaction.
Anxiously waiting for episode 3
Watching them react to this whole thing is just a treat :D
I need all movies reactions in the series xD! awesome!
Very enjoyable to watch these villagers experience Star Wars. It will be fun to see their reactions to the next film in the Star Wars saga.
The reason why Jar Jar's wearing higher class clothes is because, after the Battle of Naboo, he was promoted to representative and the critters Jango Fett used to try and kill Padme are called kouhun, a highly venomous species of arthropod native to the planet Indoumodo (look it up in the Wookiepedia) and Obi-Wan's a lot more like a big brother to Anakin
P.S. Our villager friends seem to have adventures through movies and I love how their jaws keep dropping!
P.S.S. The 'crab' is actually an acklay, an insectlike reptile from Vendaxa, the red bull-like beast is a reek also reptilian from Ylesia, and the catlike beast is a nexu from Cholganna (like I said, look it up) plus this movie is the start of a long three year war called the Clone Wars (the cartoon series tell us a lot about what happened during that time period btw) which happens before Revenge of the Sith but I'm giving no spoilers for what's gonna happen in the third movie and Yoda was 870 years old (basically an old man and was nowhere near a kid) at the time this one and ultimately lived up to 900 by the time of the sequel movies
Note: Sorry for the rant
Loved this reaction! Please keep going with these movies. Can't wait for you 3 to see the next movies.
In this part of the story, Anakin is dealing with many emotions, loss, love, fear, anxiety. He chooses to reject his master's advice and deal with them his way, which leads him down a dark path. A war not on one country or even one world but a war on many many worlds.
1 “Two worms have come in”…..2 “they are badger” 😂
46:05 the way Raeen was leaning to Babu like " Ok Elder" you are not even still younger 70 years old yet😂. Maybe my American Self is used to people calling themselves old once they reach their 80s-90s in my Family.
I'm so glad you guys put this out. I just finished episode 1 with the guys. Thank you
Its like watching the movies anew all over again, can't wait for part 3
Been waiting for this one, about to watch it now.
Edit: I'm super glad to see they enjoyed the hell out of this movie amd that they're anticipating Episode 3, and I'm anticipating they're reaction to it. This is how Star Wars should be watched.
Laurel˛& Hardy: Liberty, The Finishing Touch... Seven Samurai (1954), Wild Bunch, The Italian Job (1969), Dog Day Afternoon, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Ran, No Way Out, The Last Emperor, Reservoir Dogs, Cube (1997), Matchstick Men, 127 hours, Lion (2016)
I believe Lucas would be pleased to know his work transcends boarders and and nations. The hero's journey is truly universal. Joseph Campbell would smile in approval.
