Kenny PLEASE never stop doing these. So clear and concise. Your videos are what stopped me from abandoning reaper when I switched from Cubase and they are better than any manual or help file. Absolutely brilliant. THANKYOU!
Now all Cockos needs to do is add Multi Live Source Support, Allow VFX Plugin Support and have a Transition Creator/Selector along with Sync adjustments and a Text/Title system and Sound Forge or the need for Adobe's BS will be a thing of the past. I won't even have to use Davinci for most things at that point. Bravo to Cockos and thanks for always having our backs KENNY!!! 🤘🤖🤘
Wow. I started using Reaper when it was a few weeks old, but gradually stopped doing audio editing as my ears got too old for recording classical music. These days I tend to dabble with video more than audio, but my version of Reaper is many years old now and I had no idea how far it has come until UA-cam suggested that I should watch this. What an eye-opener! And what a great way to edit video - trust the Reaper team to reinvent the whole concept! Thanks for a great tutorial. I think the time has come for me to upgrade my Reaper installation and get chopping again. Of course I know your name from the old days but I had no idea you have this channel - subscribed at once!
This is huge. I create a lot of music videos, and I've always used an external video editor to combine photos and videos clips into one long piece. And of course I go through all sorts of rigmarole to get them to line up with the beat, and then I pull that rendered video back into Reaper to get the audio right. So this method solves a lot of problems. But this assumes all the images are already panned/zoomed/tilted the way I want them, or if I wanted to do like a Ken Burns effect, which would require some animation. So I still need an external editor to do those kinds of things. If item FXs rolled up to the comp lane, then I could put a video processor on each item, Or maybe I'm thinking about this the wrong way?

That was soooooooooooo clever and satisfying! Video editors need to start implementing swipe comping 🤯 (and bars/beats timelines)
I haven't met another teacher like Kenny anywhere. You're golden buddy.
Thank you
That's amazing! I hate editing in most video editors! Finally something simple!
I make all my videos in Reaper. Quite underrated as a video editor :)
Thank you!
C'est de l'utilité publique votre travail 👏👏
never ceases to amaze Reaper!!
man this video just changed my whole world. Thanks!!!
This is very cool, but this makes the need of first frame Video Thumbnail preview more needed than ever ! 😏

Wow, great video. Thanks you for the great work. Kenny, how about a video on the best render settings for video?
Again a super great tutorial, thanks Kenny! I have a question: Does Reaper have proxi settings to prevent lagging in the preview Video?
Thank you for this video 🙂
I have learned something, thanks.
Now if I could apply luts ect....
Awesome! thank you for this :) In previous versions you would get an annoying black screen between cuts-i never found a fix for this.
AMAZING
First!
Thanks😍
i never knew reaper was used for videos
Я бы купил этот софт, если-бы можно было-бы менять скорость как в Vegas.
Hello !
Is it possible to edit multicamera? All the recorded scenes appear so we can choose which one we want?

You could use takes instead of lanes and it would work. ua-cam.com/video/xN-geR1eHw0/v-deo.htmlsi=p0lSURZmr0kDrfU5
Is there a limit to the number of video lanes? My current video software has a limit of 4. It would be great to be able to have more clips.
Reaper doesn't have any limits, anywhere
current maximum is 128
Does Reaper have proxi settings to prevent lagging in the preview Video?
How do you render video in Reaper?
...using the Render dialog, obviously :)
