abs and traction control are not engine management. The two are on together because traction control is a sub-system of ABS. If both traction control and abs lights come on thats usually a sign that a wheel speed sensor is broken, or a wheel bearing has big enough play to cause an "incorrect signal" error. Engine management is almost certainly on because of shit coilpacks, proven by flashing at high rpm indicating active misfire. 2.7T and the 1.8T are notorious for bad coilpacks. All in all simple and easy fixes.

It’s every car maker when they make a new engine they always break down, like Audi’s V6s and Mercedes’ OM642. They should just stick to the engines they got, like 1.9 TDI or 290TD

It suppose to be twin turbo 2.7l engine, the same that was In S4 Audi`s
Seems like the engine is fine, but there are problems with turbo`s or something. If it was engine failure, it would have died right away... Definitely feels like the turbos are dead and engine is accelerating without using them.
Loved this Audi I had 2.5Tdi c5, wasn`t that powerful, but quite reliable even though many say they are not. I managed to sell mine without having major problems, it had like 300k kms on the clock, and the guy who bought it from me did another 100k km`s without any major problems, I think he is still driving it. Very comfy car to drive in and interior quality is better than c6 models.

Generally speaking, it's not supposed to do that. These transmissions, when working properly, are designed to shift a few hundred rpm before redline or maybe just at redline, but not exceed it to the point that it hits the fuel cut.
I speak from experience, having owned a VW Passat B5.5 with a similar 5-speed automatic that started behaving the same way before the torque converter gave out.

Yes, broken engine... V6 2.7t 250hp, 0-100km/h made in 7.5 secondes, 250km/h max... This car is ment to go really fast (on the highway). Sorry for my english I'm french ;) I have the 2.8 version, this engine is fantastic for it's age ! But this car is heavy and it's brakes are bs ^^

Check engine light most of the time is emissions related issue. Could be lambda sensor, catalytic,or maf sensor. Not big deal

Beautiful Recaro seats! This car does not deserve such idiot driving - but proper maintenance. The 2.7T is a gem, a longrunner fantastic engine, worthy successor of the legendary 2.2T having 1 cylinder more -> 445.2ccm x 5 = 2.226ccm, 445.2ccm x 6=2.671ccm. Indeed, capable of enduring 400HP without any core engine mod.

Broken engine my ass maby a bad Maf sensor or o2 sensor sitting at 240km/h with an engine light on nothing is broken might be kwiker with it fixed 2.7 biturbo is a good motor.and you will need 250hp to get to 240km/h. 150hp aint gonna get you there
