    Hi Jeremy, I like the fact that you post everything, even mistakes. We all make mistakes, a good operator owns up and fixes them

      @MrGoodboy76 Thank you. Everything doesn't go perfect all the time. It's just life. Deal with it and move on. Thank you for watching, and have a wonderful day 😀

    You do such a nice job finish grading the aggregate with the Kubota blade. I'm not a professional and mine typically look like a wash board when I'm finished. I end up using a landscape rake on my tractor to do finish work.

      @ChuckKalish Thank you very much. Fine grading is difficult. It takes a lot of practice. Thank you very much for watching, and have a wonderful day 😀

    Nice job. 👍🏻 I appreciate the honesty and showing pulling it back out. Also, a skid steer cant do that job. 😉

      @addictedtobedrock5282 Thank you. I was really fighting the grade and didn't want to get it too deep. I ended up being a little deeper than I wanted but had to have more cover over it. Have a wonderful night. We still need to get together and have lunch. Or better yet, a ride.

    Another good video!,wow that’s really shallow hopefully you would be back replacing it.That would of have to been done in RCP or some kind ductile iron pipe around my neck of the woods being that shallow.

      @stevefavia Thank you. When I finished building it up, it had 8+ inches over it, which is definitely minimal. They call for 12 inches. I have had them this shallow before and not had any problems. The entrance on the north side has a 15-inch plastic that is about 6 inches under that was put in 20 years ago, and it is still holding up. It has a metal one about 4ft away that is starting to rust away also. I wanted to go deeper, but the grade just didn't allow for it. Time will tell. If it does fail, I will video it. Thank you, and have a wonderful day 😀

      @ Sounds good fingers crossed,hopefully what ever kind of driveway that’s for doesn’t have much commercial truck traffic, I think maybe even garbage trucks would begin to start to compromise light weight coregated pipe,C900 or even schedule 40 might be a better option enjoy your channel! being a retired operator.

    Deciding on culvert size can be tough when you are talking water volume! We have an area on our trail that one year our 18" culvert couldn't handle the volume of water. It was one of those freak rain events we have started having in NH. I will be replacing it with two 24" culverts! I am hoping that I can get my mini excavator instead of having someone else do the job!

      @newhampshire-bob1604 Yes, sizing culverts can be difficult, especially if you haven't seen how much water can flow in a spot. Just a couple of weeks ago, I was able to see how much water the 12" wasn't handling. That was very helpful. Thank you for watching, and good luck on getting a machine. Have a wonderful day 😀

    That grading bucket seems to hold a lot of material... I need one! What size and brand is the bucket?

    • @jeramyreberpuredirt7873
      @jeramyreberpuredirt7873  22 години тому

      @kevinmcmanus7298 it's a 4ft Werk Brau full profile. It works very well. Thank you for watching, and have a wonderful day 😀

    Nice job Jeremy. All's well that ends well. What would be the ideal amount of coverage on top of the pipe to keep it safe? Thanks again for the video.

    • @jeramyreberpuredirt7873
      @jeramyreberpuredirt7873  День тому +1

      @RichBenson-jx8pt ideal is 12 inches. The first time around, I only had about 4" I didn't feel like that was enough. Thank you, and have a great day 😀

    What are costs of the culver piping? Still crazy high!

      I paid $30 per ft for the 2ft culverts it was 40ft so $1200. That's a lot more than I was paying just a couple of years ago. Thank you for watching, and have a wonderful day 😀

    Fine work as always Jeremy. Quick question how many hours before you retire a kx040?

    • @jeramyreberpuredirt7873
      @jeramyreberpuredirt7873  15 годин тому

      @Cabin138 thank you. I plan on running it to about 5000hrs I am getting close to 2300hrs now. Having the 80 has slowed down how many hours I am putting on the 40. Thank you for watching, and have a wonderful evening 😊
