I cannot tell you how much warmth and happiness your videos bring me in the midst of a cold winter here in CO. I can't wait to dig into the garden soil this summer!!!!
Same for me! They bring me so much joy 😊
Love that the chickens follow you! Thats adorable
"Basil protects pests from tomato plants" 😄
I have been planning my veggie garden for my new house and buying seeds all day, perfect timing! Love the garden content. I actually find the fact that you’re in the Southern Hemisphere now really useful so that I can get inspiration for the months ahead! Plus it is wonderful to see your lush growing season while it is cold and wintery here. 😊
I love all the tips you share about gardening! So helpful. You two are the perfect duo 🙂
Thank you Kassie! And thank you so much for watching and commenting. It’s so appreciated. 🙏

I am excited to see this trip. I am working to have a flexible work life so I can do things like this.
I'm from Ireland and similarly we have light until 10 pm. It's gives me life after the dark of winter. It is the thing I look forward to so much.
Good reminder to "let it go, thats life" can't get all those weeds ☺ and what is a weed but a plant we don't understand its function😉
This is an absolutely awesome video and something I have been looking for to push myself as a gardener and a plant person. So I truly appreciate something like you create and help others as well to learn and try the tricks and tips for someone as well. Just a big thank to you for this and wish you all the best :)
If you put those tomato suckers into the ground they'll grow into new tomato plants

Carrie. Protect your veges somehow today from the huge rain event about to hit you.
Soo jealous of your garden. Any natural tips on how to stop birds, bunnies, etc from eating into your crop? Had that issue with my kale last year!
If someone is going to visit New Zealand, what are some good/legit companies to rent a caravan from?
The pony may need to be sedated, or twitched, but that might be a bit unpleasant.
I empathise with you so much, with Penny 🥹 About 13 years ago, we bought an alpaca herd; four neutered males. Two came from a place where they were roughly handled. It was very difficult to go near them when they arrived. They were the first paddock animals I had ever owned, so I was a real beginner. After reading a book about handling/training alpacas, I still had a hard time handling them. Then I added clicker training and wow, things changed for the better in a big way. It gave my alpacas and me a language we could both understand. Eventually I could halter each of them and take them for walks with me one at a time, which is a huge ask for an alpaca; to walk away from his herd. It really promoted trust and enabled me to deal with shearing time, which I imagine is similar to your hoof trimming time with ponies. I looked up pony clicker training youtubers and found a few that look really good, in case you might want to try this approach with Penny. Some use proper plastic/metal clickers that you can buy at a pet shop for dog training, and some simply click their tongue in their mouths as the clicker. My adult daughter has pet rats and believe it or not, I've even trained them with a clicker 😃 Here are a few youtube links that might get you started, if you decide to try this with Penny ❤️ The only catch is that you need to find a food source she really loves. If she's anorexic, it won't work😂 Good luck, Marcie

Pony is probably in pain by the way she looks when she moved… pain relief and sedation? Willow is a natural pain relief…. 🫶
