The instructions state to fully charge the unit before use.
The %charged display reads out in blocks:
0-50 will display 50
51-75 will display 75. Next jump is 100. It can take some time to charge it to 100%.
The pretty instruction manual with shiny pictures explains this.

it works even better when there is a battery in the truck. i use this jumper and air compressor all the time and it works just fine even at 50% charge. it is way stronger then the smaller 2000amp jump boxes.

Two monkeys humping a football.😂 Thats 20 minutes ill never get back.JF EGWO are awesome jumpers. You didn't need to put the battery in the pickup. It'll jump it or anything else for that matter, without a battery, or a totally dead one. I'm still trying to figure out what the point of the video was about?!?!
