I like Costo Rotisserie chicken in NY is $4.99 a piece, we ate the dark meats, used the white meast for chicken/egg salad, bones and some leftover meats with vegi to make chicken soup. Their muffins/cakes/cookies are good for big families or parties!!
we were there on the same day aroud 2 pm ! this was not the worse, try 24th....it would be nice if meet you in person.... lived in NY for 40 years before moving into BNE. The chicken here is very different for Costco in US. Possibilty due to local breed chickens...... should visit the live seafood place in brisbane...cost way much more than you pay in HK market!!!!!! av 100AUD per kg two weeks before Xmas.
I have a love hate relationship with costco....and its the same reason you both already mention, they are cheap but its a lot. You see the price and the size, you are going to grab......WHEN YOU GET HOME.....the regret starts, you need to eat them before they go bad.....do you have enough space, is the other issue. Now when I go to costco, i get the things I can keep for long time without putting them in a freezer or frig. The other solution which many people does, split food with a friend because its really too much and often enough many goes to waste. Oh yes, their $6.99 chicken is very very good and its been know they are selling them at a lost.
Costco items are wholesale size and the prices are wholesale prices. So it is no surprised to be cheaper than supermarket in general public. The only catch is that you need to be an member.

Costco 一般貨物都係大量先平, 一包百幾卷廁紙, 香港冇乜人有地方放. 英國入得Costco, 都要屋企放多個freezer放 凍肉先攪得掂.

香港在90年代曾經有Carriefour，位置在新元朗中心，即現在的YOHO II頂樓全層，退出後分拆變成大百佳：差不多同期在屯門市廣場亦有美國貨場，好多正美國貨都好平，如Hanes內衣等，係跟番包裝上美金價對港紙，美國貨場規格似Cosco山姆，Carriefour似超大superstore ，但都祇做左兩、三年就退出香港，實際原因唔知，但傳聞係同行向供應商施壓，也可能係地產商有份，不過元朗同屯門兩個商場係不同地產商，有無合謀迫走人就唔知

啲薯仔係好抵買，不過好快就發芽，我已經將佢哋放入紙袋加蘋果....最後要掉咗大半袋。
Costco 啲muffin 又大份又平，但好快發霉。除非你屋企將會開Party，一日就食晒佢啲...一係放入雪櫃或冰櫃。
反而免治牛肉唔係好平，我去中超買仲平過佢，又唔使買咁大份。
香港開Costco 巧難做，Costco 東西巧大1pack,😂香港住空閒太小，不似外國住嘅空間大，儲物地方夠，雪櫃較大，可容納東西多些

一定無啦，以前杏花邨開過性質相同的法國「家樂福」，就算日日好多人幫襯，人工高租金高，幾年執笠。除非人工租金回到香港七十年代水平，否則Costco沒得做
香港開唔到架，租金太貴，以前做酒店既時候我問過一個系Metro(類似Costco，德國既)做既客類似既問題，佢都話香港租金太癲好難賺錢，集團情願系大陸開😅
大部份香港人的雪櫃太細，放唔哂Costco 啲大份量食物和物資！所以好難係香港攪
我相信Costco不會在香港開，因為要有咁大地方和停車位，還有香港居住地方小，大份食物並不適合，香港人多數吃新鮮食物，我在加國生活，已經習慣這裡生活，一星期去超市一次。最後希望麥花田和你先生在夏天來臨加拿大東西岸兩邊行吓，特别是去Quebec這個省，包你有意外收獲。

廿幾年前香港有「嘉樂福 Carrefour」，類似 Costco，可惜．．．
香港人無須羨慕，Costco買嘢大大份，不適合香港生活環境，買來還要找地方擺，香港買什麼都方便，無須Costco ，本人住北美，10年前已退回membership 咭，慳返很多無謂浪費的銷費，

Costco既經營模式，跟本唔識合香港甚至中国南方。
因中国南方地小人多，而且狹窄擠迫，家中跟本冇地方一次擺放咁多超市用品。再者南方習慣群居，生活上很少需要去很遠的他方，就算買生活所需，通常都係一小時內就買到，用完大不了再買，無需一次大量入貨
佢哋嘅熱狗汽水都好抵。不能錯過。

比生番市一半人都冇，美國costco的蛋糕甜到痺、漏到痺，燒雞係佢地招牌貨，30年未加價，香港人很難有costco，樣樣一次要買超大份，我百五呎厨房，四面裝滿廚櫃都唔夠用!
