- This is the video of my miniseries on game M2TW. There will be 6 introduction videos, where I will show you, how to start play as this faction, which I select. In this video I selected Russia and you will see how I defeat the Mongol army using only missile units.

This is a custom battle and in custom battle genereals have 0 dread and 0 chivalry and 0 command howaver real mongol generals have 10 command and 10 dread that is why u defeated them.
No not at all. Literally the greatest defense is walls, the biggest counter a horse army can face. Doesn't matter how much dread, command or chivalry the mongol general has. As the Russians i rapid expanded west and built the strongest defensive forts to the east, played on one of the hardest difficulties and still took them down.
Also, ingame Mongols have 3 gold chevrons on almost every unit in stack, which gives them insane boost to the morale, attack and defense. And they usually attack with 2 full stacks at once. So yeah, custom battle Mongols are not even close.
Large Shake rams.
Definitely not an apples-to-apples when fighting the Mongols in campaign mode. They always arrive with at least 5 experience, sometimes as high as 9. They are so hard to beat with any faction! You played them besieging your city with levies! I didn't even know they had a unit you could recruit called Mongol levies lol... try to defeat them with their heavy infantry end horse archers. They usually will show up to a castle with at least 5 trebuchet.
Guys remember to press Ctrl with your archers to have them engage in melee, so annoying to see them use bows while they get their heads lobbed off

load up on spearmen and archers inside a castle. thats pretty much the only way and even then you'll need several full garrisons.
At the point of the Mongol arrival you should have a full Dvor stack and no mongol will ever do any dmg to you

Откуда в монгольской армии копейщики? Оттуда. Сразу видно, что это ниразу не волна, а неопытное ополчение с захваченных территорий. Тактика, показанная в видео, поможет рядовому игроку мало чем, так как самая приоритетная задача - не допустить того, чтобы они взяли столицу. А при штурме стен до того, как монголы начнут набирать всяких бичей, они используют дисбалансную монгольскую пехоту - это такие лучники, которые в ближнем бою могут большинству юнитов тяжелой пехоты за щеку засунуть.
Soarin Yosei эта конница такая дисбалансная, ибо иначе разрабам пришлось бы выдать им 50 стаков слабой ))))
Max Galehmatov конница у них как раз таки не такая уж и дисбалансная. Почти у каждой нации есть оружие против этого говна начиная от стен, и за все нации востока я просто устраивал им котел возле ворот. Но вот монгольская прокачанная пехота у меня уступала разве что ассасинам, и то только в условиях штурма стен обходилось минимальными потерями.
Sorry but piss poor video. No explaination as to why you chose troops you did, underlying strategy you used. We are left to guess these things. Your strategy, such as it is rwould be countered by infantry assaults on wall?
