- Another compilation of trains caught in the Pacific Northwest and in Arizona in the month of March. Enjoy.
3-13-24
(0:00): Driving by the railyard not far from the Port of Tacoma, WA. Some of the engines I found are BNSF ES44DCs 7735 and 7652 (both H2), CN ET44AC 3165, Tacoma Rail MP15AC 1523 (ex-FNM/NDM 9825), UP ES44AC 802?, UP SD70AH 8931, a TMBL caboose, and a few unidentified TMBL Geeps and switchers.
(0:52): TMBL heritage caboose 1914 sitting somewhere outside Tacoma, WA.
(0:57): Also outside Tacoma, WA, I caught a SB BNSF intermodal train with two Dash 9s and a GP39-2. This is the same train from earlier that we caught in the last video in Auburn.

(1:10): Approaching Longview, WA and crossing over some tracks with older cantilever gates.
(1:21): CLC SW1500 312 (ex-WTCX 312/CR/PC 9501) sitting at the International Paper Plant in Longview.
(1:31): CLC's other two SW's, 302 (ex-WTCX) and 311 (ex-WTCX 311/SP 2557) switch a consist.
(3:07): The same CLC switch job crosses the road as I was on my out to head toward I-5.
(6:11): Driving down Route 432 in Longview, WA, I passed a BNSF local switching with a BN caboose and with an H1 Geep second out. I'm so used to the H3 Geeps that this was a nice surprise.
GP28M 1529 (ex-BN 1529/BN GP9 1758/NP 348)
GP38-2 2103 (ex-BN)
(7:16): As we pass Longview Junction to the right, I found some BNSF/UP locomotives, including three UP SD70Ms and a BNSF SD75M.
(7:37): When passing Kalama, WA, I passed the railyard and also found a sitting BNSF manifest with a Dash 9 duo, as well as a grain train.

(17:51): Later while stopped for the night at a Love's in Albany, OR (this truck stop was next to a less active UP line), I was caught off guard by Amtrak Cascades 507.

(24:53): A casual, leisurely drive down that route.
(25:11): As we continue riding down 134, we pass a sitting UP rock train at a quarry with two flag AC4400CWs on either end.

I'm in Columbus and i spots of railfanning in ohlo
1053 was going to be Lilo in ROHV but she was dropped I remember.
Only true ROHV fans will remember this.
If someone falsely claims to be a true ROHV fan, here are questions you can ask to catch them out.
1. Remember back when Lily was 8375 when I wrote episodes back in 2016?
2. Who was the cancelled character 1053 going be be named after?
Only a real ROHV fan will understand 1 is a trick question but 2 is kind of less reliable because you'd only know the answer if you were a part of the G+ Community back in 2016-2019.
I totally forgot about that!
@@TheNWClassA1218 I also remember back when UP 4376 was Vanellope from Wreck It Ralph, but she was retconned along with a "generic" character. The other "generic" characters are still canon I remember.
@@chandlerbranchrailfanprodu5928 Yeah. 4376 was reused for Roy.
@@TheNWClassA1218 As much as I'll miss Vanellope.... "Perfect, just like (Roy)"
Rest in Peace to that guy. Ten years ago.
