They did great be making it more streamlined when they reworked it. But i feel they coukd add on it. Like how bahamut becomes phonix during phases you coukd have ifirt , garuda and titan become leviathan, shiva and ramuh. I feel like it woudnt be too complex and bring in some new flavors.
I wish SMN would retain atleast a little bit of its complexity before the big rework. Its embarrasingly easy to play and it looks like there seriously isn't a lot they really a lot they added here, not even a few more buttons but just another bug summon that replaces already existing abilities. But they still manage to keep me hooked because of how cool it looks nonetheless. PLEASE GIVE US THE REST OF THE 3 ELEMENTS!!! XD
@booshalmighty I mean it's the same as phoenix since its essentially just another bahamut but has a little tweaks like the healing and all. But maybe solar bahamut also has some additional effects like phoenix healing maybe?
Solar Bahamut feels like a big misstep. A lot of people, myself included, were hoping for Ramuh, Shiva and Leviathan. I know I wanted them to be Phoenix phase replacements for Garuda, Titan and Ifrit so that phase felt like its own thing and not a half step between bursts
@@BlaineKodos The honest answer is that the SMN rework created a poor foundation full stop. I don't think Ramuh/Shiva/Leviathan would have likely fixed it.
So, if I understand this right, SMN functually received a follow-up GCD… and that’s all we know as of now. Phoenix and Bahamut pre-DT do similar potencies of damage, so I assume that the way your rotation works now is how it worked when Bahamut did more damage than Phoenix, except Solar Bahamut is your 2-min ‘burst’
Ah yes, the iconic SMN trio of Ifrit, Fat Ifirit, and Winged Ifrit. ;)
As you can see I gave summoner my full and undivided attention when noting their new skills :)
Instead of incorporating other summons they just ... do this again and again and again rinse repeat...

A tiny bit let down. I was really expecting Shiva or something .
It's just a shame that we got reskin Bahamut instead of Alexander or Odin... or any other primals. Such a wasted opportunity

My biggest criticism with the trailer is that Solar Bahamut seems to function identically to normal Bahamut.

@@booshalmighty hey atleast it would've made it cooler and more interesting lol
Aw was hoping for new summon haha.
I want a representative Hydaelyn and Zodiark summon like Bahamut and Pheonix. Is that so wrong?
Solar Panel Bahamut

Except if you look closely there is normal Bahamut on the job gauge after solar. I think it is gonna be same potencies
The follow up it's not even a GCD, it's just an OGCD
Zzzzz
