OMG, this is so needed. IDK if there's any East Asian bros here. In East Asian culture, women gives comfort test all-the-time! As they do something so stupidly annoying to their man, wanting their man to reassure them that they love them no matter what. And you got man frustrated over their women by thinking them as too much trouble and irrational, as they do not know how to deal with it. Thank you todd and sergio for saving many relationships!

A girl came up to me at the end of the night (who I had approached previously) and ask if I remembered her name. I think this was a comfort test. I failed.
I once asked a girl I was texting on WhatsApp why she didn't have her own photo as her profile pic. She put up one where the girl really looked like her but had her face covered with hair. Turns out it wasn't her and I'd failed the comfort test *massively* when I commended her for finally putting up "her own" profile pic 😂😂

Personally for me, I'm not participating in this BS. I don't wanna have to feel like I have to constantly perform and examine reality and the state of relationship dynamics just to be able to attune to a woman's emotional frequency. The reality is that both men and women need support and it's okay to be weak, it's okay to be vulnerable, just don't do it in front of a woman or it's Sahara time and aversion/repulsion from there on out.
What makes men who are natural at all of this and intuitively understand women different? Were they just raised by strong fathers who instilled this in them at a young age, lucked out, or a combination of several factors? This is some seriously depressing stuff. Accepting that this is real with pretty much all women, even highly-educated professional women, feels so messed up man. I've read about this a long time ago but I thought, "No way, some women have to be the exception." Haven't met one yet. Looks like we're left on our own to figure this reality out, boys. What a sad and unfortunate state of things.
If this is such a great system developed by our masterful evolution/biology, why do so many women end up in various screwed up or harmful relationships utilizing this? Something wong, Capitan.
