Omygooosh! I left Ibadan in 2003, came around in 2016-2017.
Been a long while since I watched a well crafted and creative Yoruba movie. I am proud as an Afrikan. I thank the producers for promoting Yòrúba and Afrika positively. Ifa is great, Orumila is happy, Oludamare the force of our universe continue to empower you all. Please we need such movies that tell our story as Africans spiritually not the whitewashed fake European concepts that has been an assault on everything African. You will never see an Indian denigrating their way of life. Let's protect ours.

The epitome of this movie was the igbeyawo and the way the Iyanifa who double as the mother was portrayed.
One thing I must point out to be corrected which has been a wrong done to our deity "Esu" and constantly translating him as the Abrahamic religion's "devil/satan". That incorrect. Esu does nothing which you don't deserve. You get paid by your own deed. So let's quit portraying Esu as been the bad one that needs to be vanquished. Unfortunately these foreign religious have taken advantage and miseducated us.
This movie must be up for an award I hope.
