In recent years, there has been an ever-growing number of anime where either the love confession happens early on or the characters start out already dating: this, Record of Grancrest War, Fly Me To The Moon, Horimiya, Shikimori's Not Just a Cutie, etc., and, honestly, it's about time we saw more stories like these.
Thank you stranger, for giving me a list of anime to check out! I can't stand romance shows that don't have any romantic progression; let me see the characters develop an actual relationship!
@@austinmonreal2331 You're welcome. Just to clarify: most of the shows I listed are romance shows, but Record of Grancrest War is not; it's a fantasy war anime. I listed it anyway because the protagonist and his love interest become a couple in episode 9 (out of 24 episodes total). It says a lot that, when Crunchyroll posted clips of the show, most of them got maybe 20,000 views at most (not many people watched the show), but the clip of the scene where the protagonist and his love interest get together got well over 1,000,000 views (sadly, the clip was taken down several months ago).
Coming into this clip with absolutely no context (not encountered this anime before), the zoom out at 1:02 to reveal there's a third person asleep on the floor is perfect 😁 Clearly I need to watch this show.
@@sakumon16 Zuko. In the episode the Boiling Rock Part 1 Sokka tells him that he lost his former girlfirend Yue due to her becoming the Moon Spirit and Zuko tells that quote.
Now that she has demanded an actual true confession of his feelings, he responds with a totally honest confession. She now owes him a definite yes or no! And he has every right to demand one.
@skechij5856 i know, right!? Taking things to make sure that it doesn't go into romance, that's gotta be very good writing. Imagine if Toradora happened, and instead of falling in love with each other, they help each other out to get with their best friends all the while trying to deal with the fake marriage. A better example would be what happened in the early stage of Love and Lies
The two of them are pretending to be engaged because the travel agency they work for plans to transfer one single employee to their new branch in Alaska.
Watch 365 Days To The Wedding here! got.cr/cc-365dttw

It's kinda amazing how perfect these two are for each other instead of a "fake" marriage. Just have a real one 🤔😅
The same can be said about Loid and Yor from Spy X Family
@@EugeoRedfield I think by the end of this show, assuming it doesn’t get a season 2. I think they will tie the knot for real.

Great comment! And true!

@@matthewmuir8884 I enjoy a good fantasy anime as well, so that's fine by me. Thanks for the follow up!
I couldn’t agree more
For that person to be able to sleep through that yelp is impressive. Heck I think I heard a car alarm go off nearby when she made that yelp.
I imagine that is not the vibe you want the room to have after asking someone to be your S.O.

It’s pretty solid honestly, it feels kinda weak at first but it gets better
Fun fact: the voice actors for these two are also Laios and Falin from Dungeon Meshi
This is literally the same nerd from Nagatoro.
@@strykerman7888 I know! The resemblance is uncanny!
@@danielmendes2162 it's even more funny and similar due to the tan girl with long, black hair passed out drunk between them.
But 10 years older😂
Only even shyer and without the frankly terrifying Toga-fanged nutcase
love this comment
This was such a good episode. ❤
Oh they're PERFECT for each other lol
This was an epic scene. Got us waiting until next week for resolution, though…dangit
It was over too quickly 😭
1:06 her eye is very kawaii!
At 0:59 to 2:06 "That's rough buddy." Said a certain firebender 🔥
Also tan-skinned waifu!
Which firebender said that? I think I missed that episode.

Worst she can say is no

It’s starting to get serious!
Now let's see what happens next. 🎉
Why does this made me think he looks like senpai from nagatoro?
Sweet, Drunk Yor again!
Nao ist the best winggirl
Why is it so simple for people to choose the “it’s a joke” option? That’s hard to recover from. If you ask about my life, no comment. 🤐
LET’S GET IT! 365 until the REAL wedding should be the new title 💜
I mean, the order are reversed, but as long as you reach the same goal, it’s all good.
“I could say it’s all a joke” lol really…and there’s no the episode ended like that
Great, no more faking it.
All this just because they don’t wanna be transfered over too Alaska. I mean whats so bad about Alaska?
literally everything
Maybe because they don't want to leave Japan
Mosquitoes, bitter cold, bears, nobody living within a mile of you, darkness in the Winter, and light in the Summer, I could go on........
Theres gotta be some things good about Alaska right?….right?
@@NeoAspieboy Salmon, Berry pies, good people.
Pls someone confirm by the end of this ep it seemed like she accepted but im not sure.
She ultimately couldn't decide.
@matthewmuir8884 at the end of ep he says he s finally done it. So im hoping she accepted.
I wonder if this is even acceptable……….given his current………..situation?
Plsss could u add captain tsubasa anime in your app crunchroll I really want it to see it pls
Crunchyroll, if you see this, can you please give me access to English subtitles?😅
They are working now. (For me at least, maybe reconnect/restart).
Careful lol
They might send you specificly because youre a couple lol
Nowadays why most of the female chars are voiced by saori hayami (shinobu, yor, himawari uzumaki, etc. va) ?
and best girl Rin Nanakura
Am I the only one who reacted 🤦♂️ after this scene?
Ngl I knew one of them would actually ask the other out, but for once I'd like a fake marriage plan to stay fake and not become real
What…in what way would that serve the narrative? Think about how you’d actually write a story around that.

@@carlosgarza400 Hm…I can see the appeal of the novelty.
Subversion for the sake of subversion does not make a good story. Tropes are tropes for a reason.
@@aminulhussain2277 In Carlos’ defense, they did stipulate that it would have to be *very* good writing.
