  • Another song resurrected from Tad and my early acoustic period. I had worked on it in the Fall of 1972, and Tad then helped arrange it with me.
This is one of several songs we recorded in my dorm room at Antioch on the evening of November 28, 1972, exactly 50 years ago today.
Most of the images come from my first and last days at the college in late June 1969 and mid-June 1973.

So beautiful. The essence of your music together and the sound I loved at that time. I remember it well. Still love it. Nice pics. Love you 💜

Timeless beauty in this song, and the unmistakable stamp of Giller & Lathrop’s energy and wit. Viva 1972!

This deserves a title. Song in (insert key), is what I've named countless tunes I've written in any key, song in F or song in C. Song in B minor 7. Horse Dance comes to mind.. I love it . I think most productive musicians don't worry about naming a composition, the music itself is what matters.
Thank you Don for this and all the great David Letterman memories.

I thought about renaming it a few days ago, but nothing suitable or non-pretentious came to mind. Tad felt I should leave it as is, so I did.
      And thanks!

The others beat me to it in their lovely words of praise so I'll say simply that I love this.
