  • The Phoenix Suns Were WRONG To Fire Frank Vogel according to Gilbert Arenas as he & The Gil's Arena react to the breaking news of the Suns deciding to part ways with their head coach following their sweep from the NBA Playoffs and debate if he was a scapegoat like he was for the Los Angeles Lakers or was it on Kevin Durant, Devin Booker and Bradley Beal to play better in their first season together.
Gil’s Arena premieres every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 11:30am PT / 2:30pm ET.

Tbh he shouldn’t have taken the job. Team composition was terrible and the only way it might work is if they had an offensive genius that would have them scoring 130 a night - in a similar breath to the nets. If you're not smart enough to know right now that as an NBA BA player, you need to be on a team that has an offensive system and a defensive system. Not a five wide out that leaves nobody underneath the rebound to get a rebound. Just understand that you threw away your seasons and if you have one person with the ball in their hand and they're trying to create all the time and not have any plays the last 2 minutes or the fourth quarter, you're going to lose the game. Offensive systems always work but leave in the triangle offense 😅

If you want to know who's going to win the finals you got to go towards the team that's playing all their players, not just five players or six players or seven players. I mean everyone that's on the bench is going in meaning the coach knows about rotations about the offensive system about the defensive meaning of putting the other team in foul trouble. Within 5 minutes of the game holding players accountable for taking charges to get the ball back on your team. I mean at the end of the day you got to have knowledge in game and you got to know this.
