With the zion situation, we all forget that McCollum said when he got there he didn't even MEET zion when he first go there...it matters if you're NOT there with the team
They need to respect a guy who forced his way out a team because he gotten his feelings hurt, then came into a situation to make every excuse in the book to not play and after that before this season making a AND1 mixtape of his highlights in the gym and soon as the season starts he yells out f**k my back I will need that 35 mil in advance.
I feel like McCants answered his own questions when he asked the kawhi question. Pop & tony Parker came out to say kawhi wasn’t really injured, then when he ask to get traded, they sent him to the East The clipper group with lou will, montrez & pat bev didn’t like the fact kawhi & PG wasn’t playing tht much. The Org chose to trade them since they didn’t mesh well. Kinda seems like most teammates don’t like tht baby shit, try to play if u can play
Spurs we’re desperate to get Kawhi to come back and play. Clippers were/are desperate for a healthy Kawhi. The Nets aren’t desperate for Ben, so I can see them being indifferent to him at this point.
@@basketballbicker8933 seems like McCants lives in the present or doesn’t watch much basketball. When Ben went to the nets everyone wanted him to play, but because of whatever he got going on, ppl like cam Thomas, mikal bridges, dinwiddie etc are getting mins and creating a name for themselves. Why would I feel compelled to take in account your feelings and status on the team, when you being gone has benefitted me the most? I think that’s the main point.
@@MrMiddy Exactly. These dudes are getting burn and feel like they are better players than Ben anyway. They can also focus on having stability instead of the game of him being in and out of the lineup. If he made them a title favorite, they’d want him back, but at his play they’ll gladly take his minutes.
Here's the point that's getting missed: Ben Simmons is making $38 million this season and is scheduled to make $40 million next season. Missed the last 24 games of last season plus the first round of the playoffs, where the Nets got swept by the Sixers. Played six of the first seven games this season; hasn't played since November 6th. At the start of the season, he was talking a whole lot about "feeling in the best shape ever" and "can't wait to produce for the team." He supposedly had another procedure in the off-season to fix his ongoing back issues. Now he's out because of his knee...I think. I'm not sure because the reason is constantly changing because he doesn't want to play basketball. He only wants to get paid.
Rashad is on some crack tryin to defend Ben Simmons. Lol. Ben isn’t making an effort to play. We saw it during his final days with the sixers. He’s a diva
How can he play pg if he can't shoot and is scared of driving to the basket? Nobody will guard him so his teammates aint getting open... the only place he can playmake is transition
Bro nobody got time to be revolving schemes around Ben at this point. They don’t even know when he gone be back and when he is how many games he gone play til he out again.
Exactly. It’s not about being the man or the leader or even impact. His players aren’t all out sticking up for him because it’s the same story year after year. He doesn’t show effort when he’s in there and everytime he gets a chance to be out he’s out. His teammates probably barely even know what his injury really is and why he’s out so long.
As a Nets fan I can 100% say that we 90% are just used to it. Its become a thing of “If he can play great, but if not so be it just trade him” Its frustrating as a fan because he’s a great pg, defender and ball handler but he’s never around. As for the scoring even without a jumper he can easily put up 15 but he’s in his own head so it affects the team because he could have kyle lowey under the basket and instead of just laying it up he looks to pass. So it is what it is, I wish nothing bad on him I really hope he can come back and play for us and revitalize his career but at this point 🤷🏽♂️

I get Mccants point. He got them quiet after saying "go ask him" Being apart of a team has some form of respect regardless of ability or availability. Now when you perform and be a locker room guy that's another form of respect.
mccants wants ben to be treated like a star though, which obviously isnt going to happen anymore. then he switched it up and said like a teammate. now i doubt his teammates are roasting this dude or anything negative, so im wondering what mccants really means by respect. because yes ben is injured, but there were alot of times he wasn't and he made the decision not to practice or travel with the team. hard to think of someone as a teammate when you're not around, whether to injury or personal decision. in anycase, being displeased with a teammate doesn't mean disrespect, so again, i want to know what exactly mccants means by respect, because im pretty sure he means "treated like a star" like he was blatantly saying in the beginning of his argument before switching gears

Good point Gil u and Kenyon are the best on the show keep up the good work
I agree with McCants. Just bc you’re hurt doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have a say so
With the zion situation, we all forget that McCollum said when he got there he didn't even MEET zion when he first go there...it matters if you're NOT there with the team
Facts called him out on tv like mfs dont wanna deal with the bs these stars are allowed to do
They need to respect a guy who forced his way out a team because he gotten his feelings hurt, then came into a situation to make every excuse in the book to not play and after that before this season making a AND1 mixtape of his highlights in the gym and soon as the season starts he yells out f**k my back I will need that 35 mil in advance.
He did have a back surgery
@@udithsethu552like a lot of back surgeries😂. Dude just don’t wanna play it’s that simple
@@jalilcook5113love to see you play with back surgery
I feel like McCants answered his own questions when he asked the kawhi question.
Pop & tony Parker came out to say kawhi wasn’t really injured, then when he ask to get traded, they sent him to the East
The clipper group with lou will, montrez & pat bev didn’t like the fact kawhi & PG wasn’t playing tht much. The Org chose to trade them since they didn’t mesh well.
Kinda seems like most teammates don’t like tht baby shit, try to play if u can play
This right here!!
16:45 Go ask em ! 😂😂😂😂😂 dog I’m crying
Facts
Rashad is on some crack tryin to defend Ben Simmons. Lol. Ben isn’t making an effort to play. We saw it during his final days with the sixers. He’s a diva
Play ben as a point guard off the bench and play small ball around him , he moves to the 5 on defense
How can he play pg if he can't shoot and is scared of driving to the basket? Nobody will guard him so his teammates aint getting open... the only place he can playmake is transition
Fuck all that: how can he play PG if he DOESN’T PLAY??? He has to playyyyyyyyy
@@kessauman330he can literally be lebron james but decides to be Jose Calderon 😪
@@ChromeHeart-hx2msI would make that same comparison only difference is Jose shot the ball 😂
Bro nobody got time to be revolving schemes around Ben at this point. They don’t even know when he gone be back and when he is how many games he gone play til he out again.
Rashad's takes be off, you can't treat Ben like Beal cuz Beal shows effort and prior to his injury we were still questioning Simons
That Kardashian attitude lol 😆
Gil is actually pretty smart keeping McCants around. He knows what he is doing
Gil & Kenton speaking facts 💯
As a Nets fan I can 100% say that we 90% are just used to it. Its become a thing of “If he can play great, but if not so be it just trade him” Its frustrating as a fan because he’s a great pg, defender and ball handler but he’s never around. As for the scoring even without a jumper he can easily put up 15 but he’s in his own head so it affects the team because he could have kyle lowey under the basket and instead of just laying it up he looks to pass. So it is what it is, I wish nothing bad on him I really hope he can come back and play for us and revitalize his career but at this point 🤷🏽♂️
As a nets fan ? Lmfao 😂😂😂😂 bum ass team
I truly hope that Ben scored 30 points too, otherwise it would be such a shame.
He desperately needs to get on the floor.
That man mine as well go play for Beijing royal fighters 😂 the career can't be revitalized he a used to be player now.
As a fellow nets fan...I am counting down the days that is no longer on this team.
@@grospipo20that's how we felt as sixers fans he is not dak good 😂
I saw McCants episode on Anton’s podcast, where he admits he tries to take the takes opposing Gil, because it gets him on the show more. And I see it now, it makes sense. The comments calling him dumb, I thought he was dumb too, but now I see, WE are the ones being played lol and Rashad knows how to keep his bag coming in. Well played Bro. I respect that
A wise man can play the fool but a fool can never play wise! The fools are all in these comments projecting their egos on a successful black man lmao gotta have haters, makes the world go round
@@GanjaDaddi_ well said my guy 👏🏾
I caught on 10 episodes in he would argue semantics and then change the argument to something else to try to continue the convo. People dont like K Mart because he agrees a lot with gil but majority of players would all agree on most topics Shad just playing chess to get the clicks
@@VinceVanished yes facts bro. And I’m sure most of the players that agree, still rich too. Like K-mart. But Shad already admitted he isn’t as wealthy anymore on the other podcast. That man is really working . Literally delivering a service, we the fans need a villain. Somebody to keep the story going and the debates loud and he is intentionally fulfilling that need. Which is gonna keep his demand high as a cast member
Ofcourse it’s common sense, people keep gettin mad at him when all this is entertainment
Imagine if McCants said that crap to Kobe Bryant about him "having to embrace" Smush Parker as a teammate!😂😂😂😂😂
Funniest segment ever 😂😂😂😂
“WE’RE TEAMMATES !” …. “And…?” 😂😂😂😂
If Rashad strategy to stay on the show is looking a complete fool he executing tf out that idea! 😂
No foreal dude is hilarious 🤣🤣🤣
Rashad wasn’t 100% wrong he speaking from more of a morality stand point and Gil/Kenyon speaking strictly basketball. They not wrong either. Your best ability is availability
Yeah but unfortunately it doesn’t work like that the other players think he’s faking when he got hurt this last time dinwiddie and cam Thomas was clowning him saying they didn’t know he was hurt and they didn’t even know he was at practice lol
@pedrogates3189 I actually forgot about Ben Simmons tbh.
He's being emotional
@@nukeboy4939as you should
Trying to apply mortality in a *business* is a recipe to get hurt.
I’ve never seen someone got hurt sat all year an got hurt again while sitting then came back hurt 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
" backiotomy i need a couple of weeks"😂😂😂
I get Mccants point. He got them quiet after saying "go ask him" Being apart of a team has some form of respect regardless of ability or availability. Now when you perform and be a locker room guy that's another form of respect.
Thank you. Nobody else seeing that tho
Ben simmons is away from the team but alright
mccants wants ben to be treated like a star though, which obviously isnt going to happen anymore. then he switched it up and said like a teammate. now i doubt his teammates are roasting this dude or anything negative, so im wondering what mccants really means by respect.
because yes ben is injured, but there were alot of times he wasn't and he made the decision not to practice or travel with the team. hard to think of someone as a teammate when you're not around, whether to injury or personal decision.
in anycase, being displeased with a teammate doesn't mean disrespect, so again, i want to know what exactly mccants means by respect, because im pretty sure he means "treated like a star" like he was blatantly saying in the beginning of his argument before switching gears
Nawl Simmons playing games
Well, this conversation sort of indirectly sums it up. They didn't even know if Ben Simmons played last year.
Lol hell I don’t think anyone knew. That’s his impact.
I’m laughing the whole video they funny as hell 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Rashad's is playing a character on this show, he actually doesnt even believe what he says.
Man ain't nobody thinking bout Ben Simmons 4 points, 5 rebounds LMAO 😂😂😍😍
Sometimes it feels like a parody of a sport’s argument 😭😭😭
Man it would be neat if these dudes actually would pay attention to what's happening in the league currently
Right the way gill acted like Ben haven't played in two years
@@firstteamkeem91that’s because Gil like a lot of people only pay attention to what they think is important
@@firstteamkeem91To be fair Ben’s production on the court is not much more than me and I don’t play basketball lmao
Mccants being on the show is like giannis's brother being on the bucks bench lmao
This man really comparing Khawi and Ben Simmons
😂😂 now remember the big media people said it was Philly fault lol and we would regret trading him 😂
Lmao exactly smh it’s unbelievable 😂 of course the media won’t say the sixers and sixer fans were right….😂
McCants keeps the show active, K Mart is Gils echo ...
Kardashians got McQuits shook.
The way Kenyon says
“WHO!?🦉 “ kills me every-time
"We dont know you"😂😂
Bro time and time again ends up on the wrong side of easy questions, wtf bruh 😂
Shad definitely got CTE during his short stint in the NBA 😂 dude is on one
It’s like McCants is trying to be wrong 😂
Hell yeah. I used to be annoyed. Shit is hilarious now😂😂😂
He’s right
Y’all followers lol
Rashad was the only one to know he’s hurt and has actually played this year. The rest of the guys still going off the narrative of a year ago. SMH
Facts they don’t even know what’s going on
6 out of 28 games makes him an impactful player?
@@Swaggyp50 is impact purely based off of games played? It doesnt matter the amount of games played if you dont do shit,
McCants can’t be that ignorant he trolling with that big cap on 😂
McCants is saying this because his teammates treated him like Ben Simmons teammates treated Ben Simmons
Rahand speaking his truth. Dude did not get over being pushed out league after a couple years.
Khawi has missed a lot of games but unlike Ben, he's been in the trenches with his team at some points. Khawi actually played playoff games lol
I used to think Rashad was crazy but He is actually genius he found a way to be Gils antagonist and continues to troll us with hot takes to the point he low key a major part of the show
Rashad sound dumb as hell. Ain’t nobody taking 2 years off and still the #1 option, especially Ben Simmons 😂 bro really lucky to be in the league still
McCants man 😂😂 “RASHAD, IF I HAVE TWO APPLES…” 🤣💀💀
Why everyone hating on Rashad? Yeah a lot of his takes are ridiculous but it's entertainment. It's a game it's just funny to laugh at point at . Anyone taking sports or sports commentators seriously needs to chill out and he's way more likeable than anyone on ESPN or Skip. I just watch to see how tight kmart and gil get at this man lmao
Cuz he keeps talking stupid about kawhi
He be trolling and I can see KMart dont mess with the trolling lol
Dude in the video asking questions high as hell
Rashad spent 3 yrs in college and came out with 0 critical thinking skills. Save your money kids, learn a trade 😂
McCants is trying to make this point to imply that HE deserves respect for HIS shitty career.
Same thing happened with Klay Thompson and Jordan Poole. Klay was out 2 years and Poole felt like those minutes were supposed to be his!
This a dynamic team these guys can talk and argue basketball
Ben is just collecting a check at this point
