At 7:00 in the video where the pipes go up over the rear support do your pipes sit on top of the metal piece?? Mine rattles so DAM LOUD now it’s driving me crazy. I don’t see any way around it. At idles the entire Syria a rattle box
Hi I loved your video. I’ve been researching about this exhaust system for a while and my parents are concerned that it will be an annoyance to them and the neighbors what’s your opinion on the cruising speeds in neighborhoods for this exhaust and do you think it will be to loud.
Great question! I believe it is not really too loud or obnoxious. If you want it to be loud you can definitely get decent volume out of it but for the most part, during cruising speeds, it is generally pretty quiet. Consider subscribing if you want to see more mustang DIY's videos in the future!!!
Did you buy the X pipe separate? I’m looking at this set up for a 2012 V6 Standard. Did it pass inspection or did you do this after? Those pipes 2.5 in. all the way through?
Ant's Car Reviews Thanks for the response.. Here’s my next question. If the pypes are 2.5in and the Cats are 2.5in. Why won’t it fit for a 2012? Is it the X pipe preventing that and how would you go around that if you could? I have the same factory pipe as you. Btw, those welds are factory welds (Machine) that’s why they are so clean.
@@JG-or9ej Well 2012 mustangs use a completely different drivetrain (both v6 and gt's) compared to the 2005-2009 mustangs. In 2012 the gt's are the 5.0 coyote and the v6's are the 3.7, in the 2005-09 mustangs the gt's are the 4.6's and the v6's are the 4.0's. I watched this video countless times, I just finished installing mine and it sounds amazing except for one issue maybe you can help me….. The pipe on the drives rear to the tip is at a slight angle and for the life of me I can’t figure out why?? The passengers side (factory is perfectly fine) It’s pretty noticeable and is very frustrating
I forgot what we did but i think we had the same problem. I forgot if we welded another piece towards the end and chopped the pipe or did something else. Sorry but i honestly forgot lol, thanks for the support though
@@bluegill2030 i just got mine on and have same problem. The pipe on drivers side is almost touching the ground and the tip still doesn’t line up. So you cut a piece of the pipe? or hanger? I am very frustrated😂
It does take a lot of rotating and adjusting of the pipes and it is definitely a pain. Honestly, the best piece of advice I can give you is just try to replicate the pictures on the given instructions. Consider subscribing if this video helped you out at all!! :)
Ant's Car Reviews thanks, i ended up having to bring it to a shop to lift it but fortunately they didnt even charge me because i had it all put together besides the midpipes.
Hi bro! Good sound! How loud are they drone and what rpm range? I have 07 Mustang v6 with pypes x pipe true dual kit, but m80s are installed under rear bumper and they drone much at 2500
Mine does not rattle currently. If you had it installed at a shop I suggest maybe jacking it up and taking a look underneath at all of the mounts and then if you can't find the problem, bring it back to the shop. I hope this helps you out! Also, consider subscribing for more DIY videos, car reviews, and car show vlogs
Hey dude I have a 2010 mustang v6 looking to buy the pipes midmuffler dual exhaust. I read there’s some rattle and it doesn’t fit great. You think it’s a good idea?

That’s a nice system it sounds amazing 👍🏻
Thank you, I love it!
Indeed! I got it on mines! Sounds great honestly you can’t tell if it’s a v8 or v6, if you don’t know what to look for
Awesome video, thanks for the review. Just ordered this system yesterday for my car, can’t wait to put it in
“that’s a nice car” 😭😭💀
Gotta love coyotes!!
great video covered everything i need to know
Thank you!
Car sounds great 👍
Thank you! I am very happy with how it sounds, not too obnoxious

NICE HELL YEA HOMEBOY GOOD FOR YOU .
Coworker who helped me install my axle back set said the same, "bolt-on" isn't always just a bolt on lol

Nope! It comes together in one kit!! At least for the one offered for the v6, the v8 ones, for some reason, do not include an x-pipe!

How do you get the midpipes in. I'm trying to get them in at every angle and it just wont fit.

@@fri3l450 nice, glad that worked out for you!!
I didn’t hear you mention it do you have stock headers?
I’m getting shorty BBK headers with this exhaust just wondering
yes, I have the stock exhaust manifold and stock cats
@@AntsCarReviews thanks 👍
Nice! Next do a video burning tires on the Pontiac!
That video is coming soon! Going to do a full review on it!
Not bad for a v6 kind of sounds like 350z lol but overall not bad👌🏼
Do you remember the Pypes kit model number? Thanks

Are those gt axlebacks for the v6?
That’s a nice car 😂😂 I liked that 😆😆🤣🤣

Yes mine is having a rattle, it’s where the pipe goes over the axle of the car when you hit bumps the exhaust will rattle on it really bad
Do u know where u got the bumper for this? I’m looking all over

how far did you measure to cut back that the after cat x pipe attaches to i’m curious i got this kit myself
Honestly not entirely sure, as it was almost a year ago now.
Where you put the hangers ? my right side ve way too low
dumb question but would this still allow car to pass CA smog?
I have no idea, I live in NJ. I suggest you do research on the smog laws before buying it cause I know they have strict laws
I just ordered mine😅
Btw that exhaust system isn’t really meant to fit good for your year of Mustang
It’s 4’ inches, in the video you say 3’
Revolutions per minute (RPM), do not add an s to minute because then your saying "revolutions per minutes"???
The term you're looking for is pony car
