i would recommend use loctide for the screw which holds up to the gearbox mount. I put mine off the car today due to massive vibration and noise. Screw got loose.
Fitted these a while back and made a massive difference to gear shift and throttle response and barely any increase in vibration, only on a really cold day in initial start up otherwise not noticeable
I have DNA torque mount (80), gearbox yellow(70) and upper engine black (95; some report yellow popping out cos zip tie breaks). There is some NVH but has massively improved the shifting and response. Recommend! 8:56 your is also broken :) You're not supposed to see through it :)
This is great information. Just wondering, if the mounts are stiffened, is there a chance that additional vibration can damage or fatigue any metal mounting points over time? Cheers
Thanks for the video! Still thinking about yellow or black for daily driving. Leaning towards black, some NVH would be ok and would possibly add some appropriate character to the car?
I fitted the black engine and tranny mounts and the vibration on idle is awful. The trade-off is the gear change is a lot smoother, as is throttle response but I'm thinking of converting to the yellow bits as I worry the awful idle is going to make something fall off the car
@@avatar94100 TBH black was awful. Be ok if the car was purely for track and not road but it was dreadful. I was also worried that the vibration would eventually rattle something off or break something. I have since switched to yellow and it's a lot better.
@@darrenprior6339 How is changing gears with yellow bushings compared to stock. I do have a few problems with unsmoth gear changes, especially the first three.
I bought powerflex engine mount and it made my car extremely uncomfortable because of the strong vibration in the hole car. Don’t buy power flex now they don’t want to give me my money back

Did you use the road or race mounts? Cheers
@@darrenprior6339 the yellow road version they’re a great mod
Great video guys, thank you for featuring our products for the GR Yaris.
The 2 difficult bolts on the gearbox mount are easier to access from under the car 👍
Do these also fit the gr corolla or only for the yaris?
Adding torque setting might help others.😜

ITS NOT BROKEN, it's perfectly normal for the bottom rubber to not be in contact. Stop regurgitating what you've read on forums
Hey, the black one does not have the problem of "maybe" popping out like the yellow one has?
How could that be fixed? With a metal zip tie perhaps?
@@wubziz4769 Yes, that's what I've read before buying my black one. I think it can be fixed by using a metal zip tie on yellow,

Is there anywhere I can find the nm of torque for the bolts?
Does anyone know where I can look up the required torque for all of the bolts?

Hi, If you also do track days then the black series is defiantly the one for you.

Black or yellow ?
Which mounts did you get?
Yellow pitch insert for my gr corolla made no difference in vibration unlike cusco.. better shifts though.
