GETTING A CUSTOM SHIRT IN UKRAINE (KYIV, UKRAINE)

One Year ago I went to the beautiful country of Ukraine during the war and had such an amazing experience. Meeting sweet people, eating delicious food, and experiencing the amazing culture of Ukraine and the resilience of its people during a tough time, tought me much.
During this time, I got a custom Ukrainian shirt made for me and the amazing staff at @etnodim taught me the history of the historical shirt and how they are different by region. Each shirt tells a story, so follow along as I learn about the very shop the President buys his shirts at.
Vyshyvanka (Ukrainian: вишива́нка [ʋɪʃɪˈʋɑnkɐ] or виши́ванка [ʋɪˈʃɪʋɐnkɐ]; Belarusian: вышыванка, romanized: vyšyvánka) is a casual name for the embroidered shirt in Russian, Ukrainian and Belarusian national costumes. Ukrainian vyshyvankas are distinguished by embroidery features specific to Ukrainian embroidery.
