"The Second Coming" is a poem written by William Butler Yeats.The poem is about a rapidly changing world, altered forever by Violence and Chaos.Here the poet prophecy's about the "Second Coming (Sphinx) " after the first world war.
The poem is Written in 1919 and Published in 1919 Too.There have 2 stanza and 22 lines in the poem.
The Tone of the poem is 'Worried' Tone.And the Themes of the poem are- Prophecy, Christianity, Violence and Cyclicality.
