@@rajeshraj694 I brought it for 3.6 lk and for repairs and fittings 40k, SBI insurance was 16k, milaga I'm getting in City 15 to 18kmpl, on NH roads 22+kmpl, recently my car got 28.4 kmpl milaga without AC, general service cost me 8k every time
I ran skoda Octavia for 12 years. It’s a diesel rocket but service cost issues will be felt after 7-8 years. Mahavir quoted 4.5 lakhs for changing injection which I changed sensor for 8000 outside. Skoda prefers to replace entire set instead of repairing the parts. Even though I enjoy driving skoda I had to face several issues with service and so I had to shift to Toyota
But now buying 3 cylinder petrol engines is foolishness.

I had nexon but after some days i sold it and i purchased VW Taigun..! To be honest Driving VW feels as premium.. Looks, dynamics, comfort, rides etc.. im getting more mileage than nexon.!

Sir I don’t know your name, earlier I used Chevrolet but these knows how safe it is especially our indians, next Honda City it’s awesome, Now Skoda Kushaq I am very very with this car, my cousin Brought Maruti Swift met with an accident by gods grace he survived. I told to my cousin don’t go for Maruti it’s a cheap car in India, now my cousin has Taken 1.5liter Volkswagen Tiagun. Now he is very Happy.😊
i am using Skoda fabia 1.4 TDI mk1 (2000-2007) abroad drove for more 275000kms. I would say, the best cars manufactured 20 yrs back by Skoda (now VW) than current-day sedan models in our country.. they are safe, reliable.
Obviously, they are a bit painful for maintenance, but a well-maintained car (means all spares and services ), will keep ur vehicle running long-lasting with very less repairs.
Poor maintenance will always lead to major repairs.
Our attitude with vehicles towards mileage, and service costs should be overcomed/replaced with safety, quality and reliability.
I would suggest buy good cars and travel safe, than buying poor quality cars and paying hefty bills to hospitals

Problem with majority of Indian buyers is 'Herd Mentality'. Andaru edhi konte adhi kontam ane mentality. Pakkanodu creta koni baundi ante manam konestham. Car byuing eppudaina mana requirement ento choosi accroding to that konali. Nenu car konnappudu my requirement was safety and driving dynamics and a car under 20L. Creta, seltos test drive chesa ventane Kushaq test drive chesa. Both creta and seltos were a no match to kushaq in terms f build quality and driving dynamics. Yes features thakkuva untai comparatively, but aa features on a daily basis enni vadtham entha vadtham ? I finally went for Skoda, but Kushaq kaadu, Slavia !! Goa velletappudu friend creta drive chesa around 80 kilimeters and ventane na car drive chesa, zameen aasman farak undi !!!

Thank you for enlightening us, brother. Was in a dilemma whether to go for Kushaq or not, but got the clarity now. Will wait for 2025 facelift and then definitely go for VW/Skoda cars.
I used VW Ameo Diesel DSG for 5 years, it is gem of a car. The performance and mileage are unmatched, to be frank the maintenance cost were not much, I only paid for the servicing which came to 12 to 15k per annum. After I sold the vehicle, I drove all the VW and Skoda cars like Virtus and Kushaq but never liked the 1.0 petrol engine, it was too small for such a big car. The 1.5 L engile with DSG gear box was amazing but was too expensive. Because of this I had to switch loyalty to Kia.

Harsh truth is Hyundai charges more on services literally I used grand i10 they charged minimum or a least 10k to 13 k for normal base service if in case spare / repair it will cost more.that why I sold that Hyundai 3 star rated car and I bought mg Astor . Hyundai don’t even had a 4-5 star rated car include that India’s no1 suv CRETA 3 star.

You have no idea how much a drive shaft of Volkswagen or Skoda costs. First they don't have any aerospace technology to charge high prices for their cars. They struggled to get their diesel powertrains to pass BS6 / Euro 6 norms and finally closed diesel segment. Hyundai engines are far far better than these german manufacturers.

I would rather stick to japanese. Not really sure about indian market but in australia vw they have a very bad reputation about their engines giving up in 5 years or the transmission itself. Having a toyota, honda, or a nissan is reliable, safe and can have peace of mind.
