- HD 1080p60: It is the year 1950 when the J Class 611 and M Class 382 worked together to haul freight and passengers through the Virginia countryside. With the 611 recently built, and the 382 having already been a veteran of the N&W for several years, they both worked side by side in this steam freight spectacular! Both locomotives were required for a "double-header" for the last run of the evening. Many thanks go to all involved who made this charter happen, including the Virginia Museum of Transportation, the Strasburg Rail Road, all of the crew members, and Lerro Productions. Enjoy!
Great job on this one! Thoroughly enjoyed.
Thank you! Much appreciated!
Eastern Railfan Productions you’re welcome
611 and 382 (475) are cousins since they were both built at the Norfolk & Western.
475 was built by Baldwin and 611 was built by Roanoke shops
well, their still cousins though, it's sad 475 lost some of her cousins, but she still has 611 with her :)
Good video
Thank you!
Awesome! I did that charter as well
Definitely was a great time!
