You and I definitely think alike!!. I follow your exact path to a fantastic, professional finish to any piece I make. I figure that I have already put a lot of effort into a piece, I might as well finish it correctly and I do ‼️♥️
Hi Carrie, thanks for new ideas and your creative talents. I am researching for a tumbler and I appreciate the review. I belonged to a sterling and stone club in Arizona when I used to winter there. We had a vibrating polisher and magnetic polisher. One helpful tip I can offer... you can buy drain strainers in various sizes at the dollar store. We put the smaller strainer in first and the larger strainer over top that fits flush. This prevented losing stainless shot and or jewelry pieces down the drain when straining the liquid off. Saves your shot and your plumbing 😂 Thanks again for sharing. New subscriber Kelly 😊
Haven’t been able to make anything for a while with a new puppy in the house, but having this on in the background is cathartic. Can’t wait to start making this. Very pretty.
Oh fantastic! We almost got a kitten last night, but we didn’t make up our mind soon enough and he found a new home. That just means that are hearts still are holding a space for the right fur ball!
Oh fantastic! I am in love with this device! One commenter said that over time there could be cracks in the plastic, but I haven’t experienced any issues at all as of yet
This is a super cute chain. With the price of silver wire going through the roof I'll need to figure out the exact measurements as not to have to trim waste pieces. The nail file is genius 🕊️🕊️🕊️
@@VondaInWonderland hey!! I made another one last night and 3.5” seemed to be just about perfect with a little trimming. You might even get it to 3”. Let me know how it turns out! 🤗💚✨🧡
@@carriefoscatodesign I was thinking 3". It is crazy right. I'm trying to figure out a way to get it at silver cost, maybe pawn shops or gold and silver exchanges. I've been bidding on bulk silver lots on eBay and cutting things apart to solder together :/

Another Great Video. while the Vevor tumbler is a good deal if you can get one with a good lid some are made with plastic that will crack within months of using and it can damage bezels in some pieces
Hi!! I’m using an iPhone 1080p 60fps. I could go higher to 4k but I’m always running out of storage 😂 Then once it’s recorded I put it through CapCut and I will manually pull in the shot to where I want the viewer to look. Or pan out if needs be. Nothing irritates me more when watching a video and I can’t see what they’re doing! What’s the point? 😄 Thanks for joining me! 🤗💚✨🧡
To me it looks like barbed wire without the sharp pokers! 😮 I really love the look for men. I can even think of a few who need the sharp pokers left on 😂 joking of course!
great tutorial! The design looks like it would be fun to try! I may have missed it, but I was wondering what type of wire you’re using with the Tumblr and the Dremel? Is it solid silver or copper? Have you ever done this with a silver lacquer coated copper wire that’s in a different color? I’m thinking that the lacquer color coating layer might strip off when using that technique.
Thank you so much! I’ve only ever used bare copper and sterling silver wire in jewelry making, so I honestly can’t say. But I lean towards your thinking; tumbling around can’t be good for any type of coating. I think I might have to get some colored wire and test it just to see. Thanks for joining me! 🤗💚✨🧡
Very good question! I don’t know first hand but I would say it would be ok if you used all round shot. I use shot that is all different shapes, rods and points to get into nooks and crannies but round might kind of work like a polishing tip or steel wool. And I would only do it for 10-15 min (not the full hour+) first to see what it would do. I don’t use LOS so I don’t have a lot of experience with that 😢 Thanks for watching and commenting! 🤗💚✨🧡
@@carriefoscatodesign Thanks for that. I'll let you know the outcome. I won't know until after xmas because the tumbler is my pressie from my daughter.
Good question! I like the flexibility and the workability. Is that a word? Anyway, it’s easier to manipulate the wire and then harden it. I’ve used half hard wire and it was soooo hard I couldn’t bend the wire correctly and it ended up hurting my hands
@@traceyowen6136 ok, so it seems that you can, you just have to be super careful and limit the time. In my video, I did it for an hour. You might be only able to go 10-15 minutes. You’re going to run into the same issue if you try and sand with discs or other medium. You’ll just have to be extra careful. Let me know if I can answer any other questions. 🤗💚✨🧡
@@jilllederer9628 I haven’t had any problems with delicate things or 20-24g items. I have not done really fine wire, but everything else has been holding up nicely! I would simply try 10-15min at first to see how things are going. Thanks for the great question!🤗💚✨🧡
@@LiveByDesignNotByDefault I have been using with those items, except crystals, so far, and have seen no damage or issues. I would just take it slow and test with 10-15 minutes on a low speed and see what happens. I’ve been very pleased so far 👍🧡✨💚

@@lisafarin7770 awww you’re so sweet. Thank you! Yes, invest in I think it’s 403 steel. You know how Sterling is .925, well that number is specific to high grade steel. It’s been wonderful!
