While being pulled, the coins lose all collision, meaning they can pass though anything to reach the player. Can occasionally give you some free coins that were behind some rocks. More coins are nice, who doesn’t like more coins? But, I don’t believe that this trinket isn't as that helpfu as it sounds. Firstly, a getting a couple more coins normally doesn't win a run by itself, it's just a nice thing to have. Secondly, flight makes this trinket redundant. Thirdly , coins normally aren’t helpful in the late game. It’s a not a terrible trinket, but the second anything better comes along, replace it.

It never did that… you’re thinking of serpents kiss, which still gives you a chance of getting a black heart when you kill an enemy with contact poison (THIS INFORMATION IS INCORRECT IGNORE THIS COMMENT)
@@LemomewThe Virus does do that, it's a 20% chance. And it wasn't removed either. NOTICE: The black heart drop chance actually was removed in Repentance. I couldn't see that part because I checked on my phone.

Comment #13: I really don't understand how this item, despite being rare, has higher quality than common and better speed ups(belt or spoon)like, you are not going to use contact damage too often, right? (Also,I’m happy that they are actually saying a lot of not obvious facts about the items)
Spun transformation progress, + there are many enemies that don't deal contact damage, + you can quickly slam into enemies _after_ you've already taken damage so you can poison them. Useful when backed into a corner by a group of enemies.
B tier item, useful but not that much. 1 speed up is enough with all characters, and with most its not really needed. Poison touch is only useful with some rare combos so I don't count it .

Today I learned The Virus does more damage based on how much health you have. I have over 10,000 hours in Isaac and I never knew that.
Today I learned that pooters and hosts don't deal contact damage

@holeofdarn You can actually diagonally cross spikes without size downs, its just a bit challenging to perform
@@ATGMHonse I know, I just wanted to clarify that you can not only cross spikes diagonally, with size downs you can cross them horizontally 🙏
today I learned red/purple fires only shoot once then stop until you leave and re-enter the room

it was changed to Repentance. Before Rep, it did not scale with hearts.
fun fact: this item is a reference to viruses, which are submicroscopic infectious agents that replicate only inside the living cells of an organism!
