  • Come with us on my daughter's first salon visit! Although I love the way her hair turned out, it isn't worth the pain she had to go through. Hopefully, she can start getting her hair professionally done when she's older. if not, we'll continue to do it at home. 🤷🏽‍♀️

The hairstylist did a great job; and Kori looks so cute.

Cory's hair came out really cute. I love that it was the right amount of beads, too. Lol, i remember myself wearing beads as a child, and i loved them.

If I could like this video 100 times, I would! My daughter is 10, with a head full of long coils, kinks and curls. And maaannnn, when I tell you we have been through it over the years...we have been THROUGH it. Still going through it, quiet as it's kept. So I know you have been in the trenches, since you said "older daughters". I can only imagine having to do multiple girls hair on top of your own. It gets real in these mom streets 😄. I'm joking. Because I'm sure most of us love our little princesses, and would do anything for them 👸🏽💕.

Her hair came out cute. I think after awhile they get used to it once it is done often.

The way she was crying, I'm afraid to risk it. She pretty much never cries.

For the longest I wouldn’t bring my daughter to a salon because I didn’t want to torture the lady doing it because mines would cry with whoever touches her hair. She’s older now and gets her hair done at the salon every 3weeks. I know what you mean though. @@DanielleLaShawn

I think you're doing the right thing. All the points you explained are exactly what I was thinking.

Thank you! Yes, it's certainly not worth her being in a lot of pain every few weeks for a cute hairstyle. I can make her hair look cute, the parts just won't be this precise. Lol

Her hair turned out so beautiful. You concerned stated are so on point and feel you are correct. When she lets older, I am sure she will be more comfortable. However, what is the shop name I live in the DMV area Woodbridge to be exact.
