About our Channel:
Movies in Short is a channel dedicated to giving you story recaps of the newest and older movies🎬
To produce a single video it will take us at least 2 days with a couple of people working on it from our Team :
First we have to chose what movie or serie we will pick to do the recap
Then our writer begins to write the script for the recap which takes quite some time
Our narrator will give his voice-over for the recap explaining details and things you might have missed in the movie, while making it interesting for viewers
Once the material is ready, our editor begins to edit the recap and making it into a movie recap, adding Value to the overall video
When everything is finished we take one more look to see if its alright and then we upload it to our audience so they can enjoy the amazing Recap 🎥
All of our content and videos are 100% Original, Transformative and Completely Under Fair Use Made By Our Team
When I got to the part of the recap where he's on the phone with his wife and she tells him the daughter's bike was stolen, I legit thought he was gonna go awol from his army base, make it home and go on a crazy revenge rampage against the bicycle thief.

This was actually a really good movie. A lot of dark humor. Really good acting. Good story. It's worth watching in it's entirety.
I agree , thanks for saying what I was thinking !
Yes, just finished watching it, good entertainment.
First Norwegian I’ve watched and not jacked off to
The only bad thing was the action, the way Mads Mikelsen was handling that rifle was ridiculous, but I don't blame the actor for that.

I came down here to say this, he is so good. Looks badass in this film.

its so weird to see this because, in translation and the way its edited, all of the humor from the film is completely lost. This is a drama COMEDY film. its funny throughout
Wait, this is supposed to be a comedy? As it’s presented it makes a very compelling drama. Loved that twist towards the end.

Never mess with polar bear 😅
Bro ikr 😅
That's Michael Kohlhaas
I was thinking more “The Black Kaiser”, from Polar, but, yeah, don’t mess with him…
Hannibal? Bah. Wimp.
One-Eye could kill more people in an afternoon before dinner than Hannibal did thoughout his entire life.
Unfamiliar with the reference? You haven't seen "Valhalla Rising" starring (yes) Mads Mikkelson. The most brutal, most violent movie I have ever seen. It's the greatest acting he's ever done and he never says a single word throughout. And believe me, his character, a Norse gladiator who truly has no name but picks up the name One-Eye because, well, he only has one eye.... You think of all the tough characters you've ever seen in a movie, even superheroes and the like.
One-Eye could slay them all. With a rock. In fact in the movie, he beats out a man's brains with a rock. I've see the real thing, a man with his brains beaten out though with an iron skillet rather than a rock but the movie is realistic enough it still made my stomach turn.
As another Norse character says about him: "He's driven by hate. That's why he never loses. He'll return to finish it. He'll return because he has to."
And return he does.
Warning: do _not_ watch "Valhalla Rising" if you're easily shocked by violence or (especially) if you have a weak stomach. You will not make it to the end of the movie. And really you should. It's a truly great movie.
going to a house, killing the occupant, seeing someone naked and bound(whether voluntarily or not) but not releasing him is messed up. poor guy could starve in that position.
the movie is a comedy 8although it istnt shown here), its a joke lol
Don't worry, That Poor Guy is OK.. You should watch the whole movie
They rescue him later and he becomes part of the "good guys" family. But yes you are still right. The good guys behave as responsible as stoners in a roadmovie which is part of the fun.
@@derPetunientopf It’s kind of odd with Bodashka being as helpful as he was considering he had lost the man with whom he had a thing going. He had a good heart despite Marcus killing his BF.
@@yahmicah4294 "... despite Marcus killing his BF." You mean the guy who used him as a sex slave. Not really what i would consider a BF.

Mads is a beast, his role as Lecter was absolutely amazing.
Perfectly acted
*Valhalla Rising.*
Markus: "Do you have any previous military experience?"
Me as the fat French horn player: "No, but I literally wrote the book on building ghost guns in your garage. Hope that explains it."
Mads Mikkelsen and Viggo Mortensen. These guys are acting beasts, very athletic too, and brainy ones to boot, with high-level degrees and nigh-perfect written and spoken fluency in several* languages besides their native one.

I'm exhausted by all the plot's twists and turns. It's like Rambo meets Seinfeld.
Mads can make any role a fucking brilliant performance. He is the best we got.
He's just about the first thing that comes to mind when someone says "Scandinavian Rambo"
Im a proud dane he reps his country
@@skaterdrengfredesom2665 you should be. I have a man crush on the danish people because of him now.
True, but when he was teamed up with this group of weird, crazy guys, his performance was even that much better. Any time Mads is "the voice of reason" in a revenge movie, you know it is going to be a wild ass ride lol.
I don't think I've ever been more amused or intrigued by a UA-cam video title until now.
Love how this is a a dark comedy
It's so weird seeing Valhalla Rising wearing a Christmas sweater.
We discovered an algorithm that predicts the future.....you're fired.......Wow! didn't see that coming.
Just me or does Mads look epic with a big beard lol
Mads is the Boss, but Nikolaj Lie Kaas is also amazing. Watch him in Britannia, see his big pebble..!
This movie recap was good enough, but now I can't wait to watch the film with all it's great moments... both poignant and funny, unfolding around the surprisingly strong plot. This movie has a place for everything and everything in it's place. Really sound stuff. Thankyou for this one.
Show off!

When the enemy of Dr. Strange comes back to dish out the Ten Rings!
That couple dynamic between Matilde & her blue haired boyfriend doesn’t make sense… seems like two completely different people😂
Sirius was affectively mathilde's "Councling" Markus was rarely, if ever there to share in her grief, Sirius was and while it is not gone into detail what they did when they were together it is safe to assume that they at least like each other. Also, opposites attract, as it goes.
With all of the bikers killed; the survivors probably don't even know that he was the one who ratted them out, and he is just going with the flow. Smh.
The bearded guy Otto who is the maths genius is one of the main characters in the tv series Britannia :)
He's brilliant in that and there's a potential Future Wolverine.
"What a cool movie"...... I said with tears in my eyes.
Is the movie saying we shouldnt buy stolen bikes or is it just using it as an example... is the question
Now replace bike with sex slave who doesn't want to stay with the violent people harming her. It's not such a bad thing freeing a person from her chains, regardless of what the organized criminal enterprises profiting from her suffering would like others to believe.
@@jennpark8559 I don't think a bike and a person are comparable there, mate.
Like, I can get over a missing or stolen bike, easily, especially since it's replaceable and not alive.
It is saying that the whimsical event of wanting a blue bike rather than a red one sets off a chain of events far reaching and life changing for Mathilde and Markus - reflecting that everything we experience as an individual may well be the result of a snap decision made by someone far away that we have no knowledge of, due to chance and circumstance.
Mads Mikkelsen.
Just take my money. I see him, I click.
Movies in Short is absolute diamond 💎 Mads range is rare as Meryl Streep's. I've got to see this, the story turns in on itself- great writing using an algorithm...WOW!
When the music changed at 6:47 in the movie, I was like "Aw, shyt, Attack Mode engaged." And Marcus didn't lose control killing Pal, as a veteran soldier in a forward combat unit, it was all muscle memory and I bet his pulse didn't go above 60 bpm.
Crazy to think Mads is a ballerina dancer, A cannibal, and a soldier? Such a great actor. He is a ballerina dancer btw, look that shit up.
Anything involving Mads Mikkelsen and bad guys will not end well for the bad guys. If you even look at him the wrong way, you will get a splinter in your eye. :)
wtf this movie looks great and that's rare coming from me. The part where they are assembling the AR's with the lower, upper and even the buffer spring is amazing no movie has ever done that wtf
💡Watch this video twice to fully appreciate just how well the ending is set up in the beginning.
I was expecting the Mads Hannibal character to catch the Biker Kingpin and serve his liver up with a nice glass of red wine.
I can't be the only person who is a little bit in love with Mads? Lol
Adam's apples; Green butchers; Flickering lights. These are movies with the same people, all are brilliant, all are reeeeally dark, and funny at the same time. There are others too, but these are my favourites.
Seen the movie n it's amazin. It shows how random strangers can unite as one n help each other out no matter the circumstances, not to mention how much they end up havin in common. Strangers at first, then celebrate Christmas together as a family. With that being said, one more thing has to be notified: That beard is magnificent. However, takin matters into own hands lead by vengeance rarely leads up to any good outcome. Gladly, this is a movie, not reality of course. Regardless of that fact, that movie is amazin in n out of itself. Well explained, ma'am.
Best scene was when Lennar took his pants off to keep Mads from beating him up. 🤣
More like The Scandinavian Punisher
Never mess with the Black Kaiser.
Motorcycle guys, some time during the video -
"Its actually a scooter"
Mass is one of my favourite actors.
Mads Mikkelsen is amazing in all his work.
Correction innocent bikers angered Seriel Killer Hannibal.
Gee, I wish I could get through all crummy tough guy revenge movies in fifteen minutes. Thanks, doods.
It's really not that sort of thing at all. It does use that narrative framework but it's more of a celebration of the outsider and a look into masculinity. Very quirky, heart warming, and thoroughly Scandinavian.
If you're a Northern European then it lands perfectly. If you're of a different persuasion it might seem a little too odd.
But to call it a tough guy revenge movie just isn't a fair assessment. The men involved are all brilliant fuckups and it really doesn't seem like they could ever work together. But their group "works" (I use that term very loosely) because of just how fucked up they are.
Mads can play anything. Great actor.
I kinda like how they become this weird little family at the end
Dont ever mess with a guy who looks like a viking.

Ingmar Bergman would be proud of this onion. Somehow Scandinavians write stories within stories better than anyone else.
That was a good plot twist the almost impossible yet almost identical man and it being a genuine accident but I suppose this means their are no accidents, whether intentionl or through chaos the term (and I use it loosely) Justice prevailed, so is their always a pre ordained order that we are not meant to be aware of?? I was waiting for the part where the failed prediction app was going to come into play.
The same here, I thought it would come back and show it was very accurate and becoming a future succes making the company that fired them going bankrupt while they had a great succes on their own.
it did come into play, the app was just the distilation of their own skills, the same skills they used to realise the chances of the train accident just being an accident was to high to be true, but that turned out to not be the case and was a failed prediction which showed that their app was a flawed product all along.
@@King_Flippy_Nips
Ok. I can go with that.
@@King_Flippy_Nips
Yes the app is made out of their own abilities, but isn't the idea itself flawed, to think there is possible to put in all and everything that can happen and the going to come up with the right answer, probability for some stuff to happen is extremly low untill the day they happens then it suddenly becomes a higher probability of the stuff to happens according to statistics after that, but if you keep the old figures and it becomes even less possible that it will happen again for a long time, but most of all how can you count in things that nobody knows about so there is no previous knowledge about them, there is allways going to be a failure rate on the app because it can not allways be right if it doesn't have all information about everything, 100% causality knowledge seems pretty impossible, it's more an idea like the idea of perpetum mobile, we can make things better and better, but we never fully going to reach the end goal in either case.
Though a well made prediction automation could still be way better than a human mind restricted to what's get into it's mind that time maybe distressed by events going on or lack of experiences of rare events, selfdriving cars probably are going to drastically lower accident rates but not totally erase accidents, and the probability that it could predict every conscious and subconscious events in every living thing, know every position and movement of every particle and have every measurement on all positions and streength of all forces in our universe that can have an impact in a situation, we can never achieve 100% perfektion, but we can allways do things a little better.
