Marty Stuart and Connie Smith still both such a class act. The Superlatives are such a great band.

Gotta love that classic pedal steel guitar... the best guy ever on it here for ms Connie smith
Loved him! His songs told it like it was when you were poor. He just made it sound fun.

Solid Gold Talent on Martys stage. Always the best. Thx
The steel guitar player is amazing with ms Connie smith..
Make country music great again🇺🇸👍🏻
Marty and the boys are pureeeee class act. Much respect to the true sound of country music.. bless you all
Indeed... but I hate seeing these old timers struggling to keep their "act" going and come off cartoonish, to me. I guess it's all they knew. No disrespect in anything I said btw,I'm a classic Country devotee.
oh yea, Marty is very nice man and his wife also.
Marty always looked like he was having fun!
@@macmccuaig2857 so does Paul
Love that pedal steel guitar sound.he is the best
Killer guitar players!!!!!!
The steel player is Nashville Cat and one of the greatest steel men ever, Mr. Weldon Myrick. Weldon had been playing this song. Once A Day, since 1964. Connie says Weldon is the creator of the Connie Smith Sound.
that's fantastic information. Can you tell me how old Marty is compared to Connie?
@@dabneyoffermein595 Marty was born in 1958 and Ms. Connie in 1941. There is a back story how Marty met Connie at a county fair when he was young, he saw Connie, and told his mom he was going to marry her! Marty took photos of Connie at the event, they are online. I've seen them, perform together, just plain old awesome!
@@davidgottlieb531 Ah, that's only 17 years, I thought it was a lot more . Thanks so much for that information. So good to know that he had a spiritual connection with her early on and followed up on it.
Just the top cream of country.
my late daddy love Sleeping AT The Foot
Freaking fantastic. Jimmy man... what can you say...
Lovely seeing Marty Stuart playing Clarence White's famous B-bender guitar.
love the sound of it still would just love to touch it
Jimmy was a giant…even in his last days….
I just wanted to say the volume on the video is a little low when the adds Came on the volume was louder Marty please let your sound engineer to increase the output volume up for the video even with headphones on its not very loud I checked all the volume settings on my phone and they are all up
can anyone tell me the exact recording date of this show including time? The reason I'm asking, I'm curious how long this band has been around in this configuration...I just don't recall the outfits quite like this. This is fabulous. ALso, why does Marty wear a sash around his neck?
He likes the look of the scarf.
@@teriw56 ok, thanks, just wondering, i like how he is color coordinated, the sash is matching with the embroidery of the outfit (country singer suit). He's traditional but with flair.
Sound people- how is MS amplifying his voice at 9:25?
He has a tiny black microphone clipped to his shirt
Elvis is 89 today if he`s still having birthdays?
