This is what real country music is!! True country legends, many have passed away but their music lives on!! They had pride in their songs and how they performed and dressed!! Thank God I don’t have to listen to the crap they call country today!! I have a great collection of old country songs by these legendary singers!!
I'm BLACK AND I'VE ALWAYS LOVED COUNTRY MUSIC . MY PARENTS WERE FROM THE SOUTH AND ME AND MY DAD WOULD ALWAYS GO SOUTH FOR OUR VACATIONS! MY PARENTS ARE GONE BUT I STILL THINK ABOUT LISTENING TO RAY PRICE WITH DAD !! 🤗🤗
Country music is what happened when so-called "hillbilly" string bands picked up blues forms and jazzy swing tempos from black musicians. It's really interesting to trace the history of American popular music, especially the progression of blues to jazz to country to rock to rap and all the combinations thereof.
I was raised in a small town near Bakersfield, shafter. Lots of good country music there. Years later saw ray price at buck Owen’s crystal palace. Great performer as we’re several others who performed there
@@thomassvec3771 June Carter wasn't beautiful in the standard sense, nor was she a great singer, but she sure as heck had stage presence, a great figure, and charisma in bucket loads!
What a good looking grandpa, I love you all my mother loved all of you, we miss you and still listen to you, you have blessed our lives with beautiful voices,,,
That knot on his forehead, is just an impurity. Hes just a human which shows no ones perfect. I have one on my forehead! What an entertainer Ray Price was!

Treasured pioneers of country music are precious stones to shine forever. Today's singer's should study the history of truth.

Grandpa Jones was in his 40s when he performed here. First time I've seen him with a beard.
June Carter , my favorit
I think he was at Tootsie drinking and fighting
EXCELLENT!!!!❤
Twelve months of JUNE C . what's not to Love .
Looks like her mama.
Looked like something or someone knocked a knot on the right side of Ray’s forehead!
Well, he did live on a working ranch.
Ray was known to play in Texas honky-tonks you know. Some of those places really had chicken wire in front of the bands. Others needed it!
Should see the loser
It'd be better if these shows were in order.

Well, what about James Charles (Jimmie) Rodgers? He doesn't sound anything like what country music purists call "country".
