Funnily enough, despite subtly mocking the hippie culture in 2008, Rhett and Link in 2020 basically are hippies. You can definitely tell that they lived in North Carolina at the time haha, California has rubbed off on them
haha I grew up in the thick of this culture and literally go to school here now and I love whole earth but this didn't come across as that mocking like... rhett and link are comedians they're trying to cut up a little in whatever situation they find themselves in but this didn't seem disrespectful? obviously they don't get the whole thing but this comes across to me as them just acting silly, not rude
