Spent all six years at Colby, skiing on a student pass at Sugarloaf. The Loaf is a great hill, at its absolute best in April. Now, after almost 30 years off the snow, I'm getting back into skiing, and I'm really looking forward to checking out all three of these Maine ski resorts.
Chris, retired Floridian here and looking to ski New England this winter. Being a lifelong Mainer, do you reckon Sugarloaf would still have decent conditions in the first half of March 2025? Doug
Love these mountains! Great video 😍
💯 Thanks!

Awesome to hear you're getting back into skiing! Maine has some great hills. I hope we have an epic season out there this year! 🤙
Saddleback is my all time favorite ski mountain. I love it so much!
I love Saddleback! Rangeley is the place to be in the winter.
Skip, Maine and go over to Vermont. Steeper runs, longer vertical, greater powder and just much more choices and variety of peaks.
I love Vermont but you can't count out Maine.

@@dcweber1 hello! The first half of March is one of the best times to be up at Sugarloaf, so you should be good. Maybe I’ll see you there!
100% agree with these picks

Sugarloaf is the best area on the east coast, and better than many areas in the Rockies.
