I'm new to home schooling, about to start for my soon to be 9th grader. I'm looking for classical and a Christian based affordable curriculum, but not sure if it is better to have books or use something like easy peasy which is all online. What is your best recommendation? Her school is using BJU, but that is a little pricey and she, currently in 8th grade, has classes and books that 9th graders are using so buying the 9th grade curriculum for her to start in August will be a repeat for her.
Have you looked into Compass Classroom...that's probably the most affordable classical one I know of. It's all online. And Memoria Pres is all offline and mailable...although they have online options too...they're pretty affordable too.
What do u suggest for a group we are starting with about 10 to 20 kids grades K-8 definitely want all biblical based? I’m brand new to this schooling can you give me some suggestions please and thank you
Great question. Apologia is great for group study. And masterbooks is great and easy to teach for the other subjects. Can you tell me more about your group?
@@howtohomeschool its a group of kids multiple ages in our Sunday school classes and we are starting school for them in our church so they can get out of the public school. We have a couple Christian qualified teachers that will be teaching them. We will be dividing them into a couple of groups according to grade. Does that help with suggesting what would work best? Thank you for any tips you can give me
