@@ellashella0194 You'll probably be waiting a couple of years. Vivziepop has stated that she wants to wait until they have the rest of the season (or at least most of it) done. The pilot took about 2 years to come up with and make but I've heard that the other episodes could take 2 months each to make and will probably be shorter than the 30 minutes that the pilot was
Facts about the characters I read off of the fandom wiki:
-Nifty died in the 1950s, hence the housewifey-ness
-Husk died in the 1970s, and was a gambler
-Alastor died in the 1930s and was a serial killer radio host
-Angel Dust died in 1947 of a drug overdose, the drug in question being Phencilclidine (PCP, also called 'Angel Dust' hence his namesake in hell)
-Vaggie died in 2014 and is Latino. This is why she had that reaction to Angel's "Don't get your taco in a twist" quip. Another fact about her is that she was originally planned to have died in the 1980s and has a like for 80s music possibly as a reference to this.
-The two goat demons who sang with Charlie in the 'Inside of Every Demon is a Rainbow' song are named Razzle and Dazzle. They were her stuffed animals that her father brought to life to act as her body guards. They love donuts and they are nicknamed 'The Goat Bois'.
Altaru Dragon Spirit Vivziepop said in one of the charity stream the Hunniecast group did that most of the stuff on that wiki isn’t accurate anymore. So take it with a grain of salt.

I think it's implied that his boredom is less from people losing interest in him, and more that he's able to absolutely steamroller any competitors, so he's looking for something else to occupy his time.

Charlie is honestly the saving grace of this show and her character is genius. She is like Harley Quinn, Lola Bunny, and Mabel from Gravity Falls all mixed into one! Her voice just beams excitement! XD

This definitely looks like its going to be an interesting show. Good animation and the concept is an interesting one. Trying to redeem souls that have already been condemned to hell. Your right Cal, Charlie does come off a lot like Rapunzel from Tangled. Its the same upbeat attitude but stuck in hell witch makes it stand out even more. I actually found Charlie's brief transformations while she was singing to be interesting. As upbeat as she is she is still the princess of hell and there's some hints that she has a dark side. Really looking forward to seeing what happens next with this gang of entertaining weirdos and dammed souls.
And yes the language Vaggie drops into now and then is Spanish.

I love Hazbin Hotel so much already. I cosplay Charlie (I see a lot of myself in Charlie) and I found out recently that someone I admire and that I've met in person more than once, and they asked to hug me once and I was so happy, is the singing voice for Alastor! So yeah, this show makes me so happy already.

Actually I think Charlie's parents in that portrait of her family, are Lucifer (Frist of the fallen/ king of Hell) and Lilith (Adam's first/former wife & mother of demons)

What exactly is Alastors role on the stage of hell?
Does he rule over parts of hell?
Vaggie did say he toppled overlords when he first manifested and Sir Pencil seems to see him as enough of a rival to ignore the princess of hell standing right next to him. You'd think, Sir Penthouse would pay more attention to the daughter of the guy who (offically at least) runs the place he trys to take over than the guy who (again, offically at least) seems to be ranked lower than the royal family, as indicated by the fact Charlie used her title to have him help her without a deal. Though considering that (to me, at least) it seems she was more hoping it would work than actually knowing, it seems Alastor is unoffically considered on roughly the same level as the royals.
However, as far as we know, he didn't get in on the scramble for more turf like other turf bosses after the last extermination. Not to mention that you'd think with his power, he could easily take over Pentagram City. The fact that he hasn't already either means he has a long-term plan which requires the place to be not ruled by him or that he simply doesn't care about ruling stuff.
Perhaps he is more of a pupeteer?
In one of the scenes playing during Vaggies explanation of who he is, we could see a number of demons standing behind him. This propably means they are all working under him. Some of them showed up during the opening song like the female demon who opened her curtains to Charlies fire works, Rosie, the emprium-owner who lost her partner in the extermination, or the three demons in the "Porn Studios"-building. And while we don't know much about the first one, the other two seem to be in (more or less) important positions and influencial positions.
Though again, someone with his power propably doesn't need influence to get what he wants.
Or perhaps he is simply someone who likes to see hell burn...I mean, even more than it already does.
I hope we'll get a clarification on that later on.
Regardless, he's certainly the most mysterious character out of all we've seen so far.
When it was said that Alastor destroyed demons who were ruling hell for centuries, could one of them be Sir Pentious cuz of him seeing being angry towards him lol

I think Alastor is like a mob boss of some kind. So not any official power but de facto rules over parts of hell. Sir Pentious is probably similar. Demons don't seem to care about official politics.
Every high level demon in hell just wants *more* power, like Sir Pentious, while Alastor just does stuff for his own entertainment.

Alastor is a serial killer who was a radio host when he was alive. He lived in Louisiana. He died in the 1930s that's why he has that aesthetic with him. He died by being mistaken for a deer by a hunter and shot. (This information may be outdated though because they may have updated his backstory. I hope they kept his backstory the same tho.)

Only if you hang around the insufferable parts of the fandom. Every fandom has its good and bad parts, and I've never really understood labeling an entire fandom as good or bad. The bad parts are just the parts that are more vocal or "cringe" or whatnot, so the bigger the fandom the "worse" it gets since it'll have more people to be loud and annoying in it.

I've been following this production since it was still in its early stages so it's really cool to see it culminate into an equally awesome pilot. Gotta say though, this is the first(probably only) "adult swim"-esque cartoon I've ever watched as I have never been much of a fan of this...genre? Humor? So the fact that I'm willing to go through with it despite my reservations just for the sheer concept and talent alone is...something.

Lol as a furry i can say, that whether or not this show had anthropomorphic creatures or not. I still would have loved it. The show is great, the songs awesome and funny. I would have to say that Alastor and Angel Dust are my favorite characters and can't wait for more episodes of Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss.

Alastor’s song has a New Orleans kinda swing to it, and his attire and the part where he tapped his cane to the fireplace and created those shadow guys reminded me of Dr. Facilier/The Shadow Man from Disney’s “The Princess and the Frog.”

However, they have a similar sense of humor. ... According to Vivziepop in one of her streams, Alastor thinks Charlie is funny and likes talking to her.Overview. Out of all the demons in the infernal Pit, Alastor is arguably the most cruel devil of all, even for a demon, especially in his sadism. the secondary antagonist of Hazbin Hotel. His goal is to Rule hell using his inventions.

Actually her father is Lucifer. Him and satan are two separate entities in this world. You can actually see Lucifer in person during the beginning sequence though he's really hard to spot
