As a distant relative of the Horten family and a flying wing fanatic, thank you for taking the time to talk about the 229!

The fact that all these are jets makes me think of the timing. Looking around and bot seeing any flying wings as fighter/interceptor makes me wonder more about what ifs… BTW, the opening scene and music gives me chuckle by now. :)😄

    G'day,
    Thanks for the
    Shoutout !
    These
    Design Analyses are all
    Pretty much
    Delusional
    WIBNIFs...,
    Kinda thing.
    Wouldn't
    It
    Be
    Nice
    If...,
    Fantasies.
    Perhaps, maybe there were
    Three people in all the
    Luftwaffe
    Were sufficiently skilled
    As to be able to
    Expect to survive
Trying to put one of these
    Back down on the
    Airfield, undamaged, after
    Trying to fly the
    Thing
    Over the
Fence at the end of the
    Runway.
    Birds might not have
    Tailfins, Rudders,
    Or
    Rear-Fuelages...;
    But...,
    They
    DO
    Possess
    V-Tails featuring an
    Infinitely-Variable
    V-Angle, from
    -80° to
    +90° in
    Dihedral..., &
    Infinitely-Variable
    Camber
    &
    Rigger's
    Angle-Of
    Incidence...,
    On both
    Mainplane & Tail
    Surfaces...
    So,
    The liklihood of
    ANYBODY
    Ever being able to routinely
    Confidently
    Strap into
    ANY one of these hypothetical
"Doodles "..., if ever they'd been
    Built to be
    Flight-Ready...;
And then expect to be able to
Take off, fly 10 Miles, land -
Drink Coffee while the machine is refuelled,
    And
Then successfully flies back to Base...
    LET ALONE
    GO
    BUGGARISING
    About
    Playing Sillybuggars by
    Trying to
    Shoot at
    Strangers...;
    While trying not to
    Crash from
    Sloppy Flying or
    Set an
    Engine alight
    By having dared to
    Alter the Throttle
    Setting
    While flying
    Level, or
    Diving,
    Climbing or
    Turning...
All of which was taught to
    1944/'45 Luftwaffe
    Jet
    Jockeys.
    Propellers
    WON
    the
    Great
    PATRIOTIC
    Waaauughhh(!)
    Of
    Two...
    Such is life,
    Have a good one...
    Ciao !

Imagine the germans had all the time and resources to go ahead with their engineering.

Where can I locate a full set of plans for the Ho-229 in order to make an accurate scale model. I do not care if it is in German; Google translate can handle the language problem, but the dimensions and air foil are necessary
