Follow page 20 in the book. Overall pattern: variation key, 1 selector, step, pattern number, step, step, step, the ready light should turn on. This puts the same pattern across all the needles and centers it on the selected needles. Hope this helps.
You just have to jump in there and don't be afraid to try some of the buttons. I still have to use the book. I hope you have the manual for it. That is my next newest machine. I also bought the bulky version right after that. The same rules apply for entering the pattern number. It really works if you just follow the book. Use the short procedure on page 20 and pick a number out of the stitch world book. It was easier for me to start with a tuck stitch and one color.
Thanks so much for your video. I am a new knitter and I have the same machine, so really hope you will make more videos. Hopefully, it will give me some inspiration as I am not doing to well with it at the moment.
If you get completely lost, you could always shut off the machine and start over. I've done it many times. I don't know if it's recommended, but I have done it repeatedly. Now that I haven't used it for a few weeks, I'll probably have to relearn the sequence. It get easier, though. I'm afraid I've been doing 2 color patterns on the bulky most recently to felt into bags. It's the same computer. BTW, sorry it took so long to get back. I get overwhelmed by the numbers of email from crafting sites!
