Fourth Training With Novak Djokovic - Part 1 | Rolex Shanghai Masters 2018 (TENFITMEN)

- Watch the first part of my training with Novak Djokovic at stadium court at Rolex Shanghai Masters 2018 before his semi-finals match against Alexander Zverev // How does it feel to train with the best tennis player in the world? How does it feel to practice with the best? How does it look like to train with Nole?
In this video you will see first part of our warm up that included many rallies from the baseline and also some backhand crosses because the next opponent was Zverev who has a very strong backhand. I encourage you to watch the whole video, especially the ending! Hope you enjoy it!
I put quite a bit of explanations in this video so that you can maybe get some feeling of what was going through my mind at different moments. I hope you can feel the atmosphere and enjoy it a bit! For me this training, as all the other trainings with Nole, was very special, extremely emotional and something that I will remember for the rest of my life!

Loved this...and thanks for the personal insight into Novak's strokes...his backhand is way more complicated when you slow it down and see it from behind.
World's #1 apologizes to a warm up partner working for him for being 10 minutes late when it wasn't even his fault. Novak sounds like a real class act and maintains his humility. Pretty rare in the world of sports celebrities today.

entertaining to watch I must say.
If I may be so bold to give you a tip.. (a request really) ; it would be worth even more if you - with your insight in tennis techniques - would comment on the player's strengths.. why they hit the ball as well as they do. Like the way you froze the image when Nole hit a backhand n described it for instance.. great stuff :-D

No one can look as smooth and effortless on groundstrokes cause no one has 1) the high swing weight frame that nole uses 2) the timing and footwork to prepare for the stroke that nole has 🤷🏻♂️

Thanks Kaitlyn, great questions. Definitely I felt off many times, but you just have to keep doing your thing. I usually try to focus on my movement and breathing. That always helps a lot!
