The Crimson Fleet storyline really is one of my favorite.
Followed by the Riujin missions on Neon.
Did you hear about the storm that walked with a limp?
It needed to use a hurri-cane.
Are these getting better, or have I just built up a tolerance?
This is one of those quests that really hits you in the feels with a sack of bricks. Experiencing the crew's last moments via the audio logs, stranded, alone, and with no hope of rescue.
@23:15 I'm so glad Gopher also spent forever trying to maneuver around the corpse just to pick up some junk in the locker. I got stuck back there. Evil design by the devs.
Just finished this storyline yesterday and absolutely loved it.
Intentional perchance? I mean I'd do something like that just to get on the nerves of all the great looters - me included.
Kinda cool how they re routed power from the credit crates to keep the shields up. The crew slates are pretty sad.
"We'll worry about that on the way out"
...
😂
Vacuum Tape. :-)
36:57 once you find these special crates...you need a special key to open them...be on the lookout for them out there if you find the key...it opens all of them. (the same Vault key opens these chests ..don't lose it or sell it...keep it on you at all times.
This episode should have been called "That's what she said!"
Those data slates are so annoyingly difficult to see sometimes. It doesn't help that you were kinda skim scanning on your initial pass through.
The irony of you loving that new particle beam weapon, when you've been keeping Andreja from using it for almost the entire time you've known her is hilarious to me. I don't remember your reasoning but super early on you took the heavy fuse ammo from her and started giving her ballistic weapons.
Wasn't the problem that it uses lots of ammo? Or was that another weapon?
@@transient_ its her own personal one, as long as she has heavy fuses she can use it forever. All companions come with a private weapon that you can't take from them, hers is the new one Gopher was loving in this ep. I want to say he might have thought it wasn't her style seeing as it's bright, flashy and loud, meanwhile she's reserved, and sneaky so he thought giving her suppressed firearms was more fitting? I can't remember if that was it or not though, and it was so long ago I doubt he himself remembers why he had her switch.
Wow, I really felt for the crew. I felt for Kyrx. I also felt for Andreja when Malcolm was like I'm liking this! while he shot her the arm. Wild ride here.
There's a star system that has a storm like this above the planets lower orbit...sadly I forgot where ...I think this tech would be useful there. Oh duh it was this one 😂
Why would they run out of water? So long as they had power, and they did, they could jusr run the filtration system. They still would have died but they wouldn't have been thirsty.
I've found that with this game - actually most that Toddles has his fingers in - so-to-speak - are best not to think about too deeply. Science and honestly logic at times can make one yell at their monitors playing these games, but they are enjoyable (like a lot of recent movies) if one can turn off the part of their brain that makes you go.. hmmmmmmm!
This place is so eerie.
I also spent an eternity looking for that damn key!
