    I am 66 yrs old. I have been a woodworker for most of my life. I can tell you that this video misrepresents many aspects of making a floating table. From basic joinery techniques to over simplification of the prepration of the parts prior to assembly, to the glue up and clamping procedures, not to mention the measuring, tool set up, tools and machines necessary to build this table. I caution anyone who is not experienced in wood working to take this video as anything more than what it is, entertainment for those who would like to do woodworking.

    Very nicely done. Question, I’m in the market for a saw and I’m leaning towards the Bosch you have. How did you obtain a laser line on both sides of the saw blade? Can you add the aftermarket centrifugal laser to both sides? I’m interested in the accuracy this possibility may provide.

    • @jacqueslecerf2424
      @jacqueslecerf2424 2 роки тому

      The glue he uses is CA glue (cyanoacrylate adhesive). Similar to super glue, it comes with an activator spray to accelerate the dry time. Works great for fit up and placement of small pieces and keeps miters aligned. It is not exceptionally strong, I generally use brads/pins to add a piece of resistance to shearing forces.
