Childhood memories
Last night I was listening to this while I was wrapping Christmas presents with my sister...this year has been really rough for me I got kicked out three days after I turned 17 because my abuser was there that morning and they chose him over me...that day I immediately told my sister because she was also kicked out, she was there for me through it all and so was my cousin and her partner and I ended up moving to 5 different places while trying to keep up with the last year of high school (I ended up getting kicked out of there to) at some point she offered for me to live with her since we have always been the strongest duo of the family..for the first time in almost a year I felt at peace and this song will always remind me of the one person who has stuck by my side through everything I have ever been through, seen the good the bad and the ugly ❤️ thank you raina ( I'm trying not to cry while writing this 😅)

No matter how long my day was, how hard my life gets and how sad my mood sets, i always find myself back to this song and manage to release everything i built up inside.
Personally, and im sure so many others would understand, that i can never open up and talk about my feelings but yet im always willing to listen to others. I wouldnt say im depressed because of that but building up so much stress and saddness over LONG periods of time, it does start to feel somewhat of a mental illness and i just feel like this song is my rebound from all of that. Its such a simple song that cures everything inside of me.
Just listening to those soothing hums causes me to find myself walking down a path with all my traumas, reasons of my mental health and numerous passing of loved ones that play all at once. Usually, i would cry but with this song.. i feel at peace with every step i take down that path.

Inspite of all those wounds and scars I'm here still standing and like nobody there you alone have to fight and at the end of the day you're all with yourself .
