Hi..Can you show how to do this using a download version of TurboTax? I don't do my taxes online, but use the download version. I clicked the wrong box for a dependent and didn't get the child credit.
Help! My spouse and I went to a "tax specialist" in the area and he marked me as "single and claiming 2 kids" and my husband as "head of household and claiming 2 kids." We are in the State of Wisconsin. We have always filed married jointly. This guy didn't even ask us to sign anything. Instead, he created a pin that would "allow him" to sign on our behalf and we didnt even know about it. I want to amend my taxes so that it reflects "married jointly." Can I do that?

The error on mine says - "Primary taxpayer's identification number assigned to this return has already been filed." How do I fix that? It is incorrect.
What about amending to correct the accounting method for previous few yrs that a tax preparer put accural when it should have been cash method, After going to a new preparer and gave him a copy of previous yr return to do everything the same and just noticed that he put accural instead of cash which is what the previous accountant was putting on return. Income is low under 45,000 gross and no inventory, just a yoga instructor and some modeling as sole proprietor so should be cash as first noted. I read you can’t change it without permission so not sure how it was overlooked, it’s been 4 yrs now with that mistake

Please do the video about how to file the form 1065 schedule K-1 for domestic partner but schedule K-3 documents are not available till June 2024 in Turbo Tax. Should I file the tax on time and do the amendment later or file the extension till I receive Schedule K-3 documents, although the partnership of my investment is in United State, but I dont know why the box 16 on Form 1065 checked for Schedule K-3 is attached, and again, is not available for investors till June 2024 Thanks

Hi. Thank you for these videos! They are very. I made the mistake of incorrectly entering the wrong amount of property tax. When I go through these steps nothing changes for the Federal Return but I am due money back from CA. Do I need to send in the form to the federal government too? Only CA owes me a refund. Thank you.

Hello, I just received a W2 corrected. I have to amend but I don't know if I have to edit the previous form or add a new one. Do you know what's the process or what info should I change? Thank you!
I use turbo tax premier bc of my rental house. I started renting it in Feb 2021 and it’s still a rental. I just realized I wasn’t including deprecation expense. I figured out how to do it and got the correct values for cost basis and land value however is there a way to do it so it recaptures the last two years or do I have to amend 2021 and 2022? Thanks so much !! 😊

Could you show how to do think on the Desktop version? I'm not sure if it's a glitch but it seems like TurboTax doesn't work on the amended returns.

Always read and check everything before sign, have that guy fix it.
