If you ever do more of these, just know that there are people who will love it.
Thanks Jojo!
This is a side of the war that is not enough talked about, Hollywood should make movies about these events so that the public gets to know them!
The European theatre is absolutely done to death, while the Pacific theatre never gets nearly enough coverage. Glad to see this video gives the Pacific front its due!
You guys have the best job. I can't imagine the grins on everyone's faces while writing this.
@Alex We love our work!
I applaud you all for running with the gag for the whole episode. Well played.
Thanks Michael, glad you enjoyed it
Amazing. Never knew this piece of history.
Most of this is still very classified.
Most historians don't even acknowledge this history, but I'm glad it's finally being given its due.
Indy, what happened to the secret 3 man Jedborg team (Moe, Larry and Curly) sent in by the Allies to take out Strucker? Now that's history that deserves to be remembered!
I almost forgot it was April 1st
Good show guys
Loved this episode
Thanks very much, glad you liked it!
@@WorldWarTwo No problem guys! Love all your work 👍
How Indy kept a straight face and delivered that entire narrative with the same tone and gravitas he does when discussing the dead of the WW1 western front or Stalingrad I'll never know, but i loved every second of it. Excellent April 1 video. As to Hydra... I can only hope Steve Rogers recently being rediscovered in the ice he was rediscovered in after being refrozen can once again help put a stop to its nefarious deeds.
@RayearthIX Thanks for watching
Alternate history has always been one of my favorite sci-fi tropes.
Well done. Well done indeed.
Thanks Steve
I love this episode already! (Figured it was April Fools, but still is fun!)
Best episode by far!
Thank you so much!
What an incredible and accurate representation of history here. Such a great episode!
Thanks Sean!
Imagine just how epic it would be if Indy & crew lead us though the entire Marvel history:
*"In recent times, May 4th is day to honor Star Wars, but after today will be remembered for something else which would change the world forever. For today six unlikely heroes came together to defend Earth from a massive alien invasion. This week Loki Odinson invades New York with an army of Chitari, and the Avengers introduce to him personally the Hulk!"
I'm totally geeking out! This was awesome! Well done to all at TimeGhost for this wonderful episode!
Thank you Lawrence!
My thanks to the Timeghost/ WW2 team for this comedic episode. The world needs more light-heartedness during current world events. I've been following the team since 2014 from the great war channel, keep up the great work!
@Kyle Thanks very much for your dedication for so long! Glad you liked the episode
Top-level content once again
Thank you!
I wanna see more of these videos! Especially ones focusing on Sgt Fury, Captain America, and all the other seemingly forgotten Allied heroes!
@Aaron You can help us make more episodes every week by joining the TimeGhost Army! bit.ly/WW2_187B_CO
Hail Hydra
Hope we can get a sequel for next year.
Red Skull kill Bucky. ;)
Indy is such a nerd and I love it! Well done! I don’t normally like April 1 themed UA-cam videos, but this was very well done. Bravo!
Thanks very much, we're glad you enjoyed the episode!
This video gave the Sci-fi/Video Game/WW2 History Nerd in me, a joy I needed when the world can seem so grim these days.
Thank you for that.
Thank you Patton! Very glad you enjoyed it
This is proof that these guys should narrate just nearly everything in the world xD
Indie has been the voice in which i read history for the past 8 years
@@nickshaffer80 When i woke up to Russia invading Ukraine i heard his voice saying: February 24th 2022, Russia invades Ukraine. Queue WW2 intro
I appreciate that deep dive but maybe it’s about time you finally let us know what Easy Company is up to.
Great job, and I loved that Raiders Easter egg.
@Alex Spoiler: Easy company won't hit Europe for more than a year.
Easy company was DC. Imagine Nick Fury and Sgt. Rock working together? Would have ended the war in 90 days.
That was very good, well done!
Thank you for watching!
This is an oft-overlooked aspect of the war. Thanks for bringing it to the public
Thanks for watching, Philip
OK, I'd totally watch that movie!
This was brilliant! I hope next year Time Ghost can do a Hellboy themed episode!
This is a great April Fool's day bit, but I can absolutely imagine you doing a year by year of the Horus Heresy! I would watch and support every episode!
@Vincent There are tons of specials we'd love to do, topics to cover, and ideas for series, but we can't do it without your support! Join the TimeGhost Army and help us to make more of those specials! bit.ly/WW2_187B_CO
Look up Arch warhammer. He covers the horus heresy in such detail
A week by week series of vraks would be cool.... May take a bit long tho
Honestly my first thoughts were “wow I can’t believe there was so much historical background the comics pulled inspiration from!”
It's so good ! Indy's delivery makes it so real ! Now I want you guys to do fictions as well.
Indy: 'HoooooooowEver ! Sauron had not accounted for Sam ....'
Thanks willou, glad you enjoyed it
I genuinely don’t know how many times I’ve watched this episode now. Keep on going! It took me a few seconds the first time I saw it. Still loving the work!
Very glad you like it! Every episode is a great investment of research, time, and money. We do our best to cover the action of this war every single week and to bring you special episodes regularly, but we can't do it without your support! “I am Iron Man.”
Anthony Stark’s final word in Thanosian galactic war, 2023.
Ah yes. Hydra. One of the biggest players of ww2
“AVENGERS!!!! Assemble.”
Captain America during the declaration of independence in the Thanosian galactic war, 2023
So I have been listening to the entire playlist of WW2, episode by episode. And I definitely realized that something went bonkers with this one. Then I checked the date i was released. Good stuff. Gotta love when historians can play these kinds of episodes straight.
Very important piece of history that our teachers will never admit to! Thank you, guys.
I'd love to know the original sources + documents for this history. Can you provide the titles of this dossier, I want to buy copies.
I love how this is still entertaining content, even though an april fools joke
@Peter Thanks, glad you liked it
Thanks for this very anticipated elaboration in a much too often overlooked story that's in its day had enormous consequences on the further developments, not the least for tomorrow: April the 2nd, when so much was reversed.
@Henrik Glad you enjoyed it
It's amazing how much difference a single day can make. Truly a time of super men, doing super things.
@@WorldWarTwo Loved it. You're fabulous!
Honestly was expecting anything too much but the amount of effort put into this bit makes it so much funnier after having context of the rest of show.
Took me until about 50 seconds to catch on - mostly because I was thinking haven't heard this before! The photo of a cyborg followed by the cartoon frame then Sgt. Fury nailed it.
