@@gideonkloosterman you need to check out all the other brands of herbal liqour! Especially if you're near Germany. Even the Jägermeister tastes better or at least less bad in Germany. Or maybe I just had only tried some too old Jägermeister before visiting Germany. Private persons don't always store their liqour bottles correctly.

@@Call-me-Al I live in Braunschweig, about 20 mins from Wolfenbüttel where Jäger comes from, and it's so cheap here and tastes better. Jäger actually have a mobile bar that's on a double-decker bus that runs to Wolfenbüttel to do tours of the factory. The town of Wolfenbüttel is tiny as well and some of the houses are fucking massive because a lot of the top brass live there.
There's also loads of knock-off brands everywhere here to try and steal the limelight lol.

After seeing this I had to try. One shot was surprising but couldn't tell if that was good or bad. So I had to taste it again. After a whole bottle I still can't say... It's not good, but at the se time it's not bad... Will I buy it again, no.

My fascination at the fact that people continue to ask James to review these weird coffee drinks is only dwarfed by the fact that he actually does.

Just came home from a long shift to this and late presents in the mail, and honestly feel like the luckiest person on earth
I've had the Jager cold brew coffee stuff, at room temperature. I didn't think it was awful plain, but I found it worked best to make white russians, as a replacement for other coffee liqueurs like Kahlua not to drink straight, but to mix with other things as a smaller part of a whole drink.

The correct way to appreciate the nuanced complexity of Jagermeister, or Jagey as we called it growing up, is straight from the bottle standing next to a keg outside in Wisconsin in the middle of winter.

Jäger is surprisingly useable in cocktails. Try in an Old Fashioned: 40 mL Jägermeister; 30 mL apple brandy, 2 dashes apple bitters. Or the Jägerita: 40 mL Jägermeister, 20 mL Cointreau, 20 mL lime juice, 20 mL simple syrup.
Actually, in Germany Jägermeister used to be a outdated, unfashionable spirit that old gentleman would drink in the pub for the old time‘s sake. Then came marketing...
