Usually won't work online but I have performed it 3 times at my school chess club this year alone so I guess it works. Only really try it on people who aren't really good though as it's quite a sign of disrespect trying to do it against someone who actually plays.
>it’s a sign of disrespect to someone who plays for real lol. A bongcloud feels less insulting than someone trying to scholars mate you in a 1200+ rated game
@@CyVinci id consider it just a bad decision against someone who really plays because it often leaves black ahead in development compared to white which is not how an opening is supposed to go. the Qh5 variation is even worse because black is forced to develop both knights and prepare their bishop for development while white moves their queen and bishop around
This is actually the Napoleon attack. The Scholar’s mate opens with the Wayward Queen Attack. (This also might be called the Scholar’s mate; I’m not sure)
I did this to my cousin and I said "checkmate" He was like ay bro what checkmate I can take your queen.I said my bishop would take you you can't do that.He was like"ok ok let's play another match"😂😂😂😂
As someone who is a pro at blitz chess, let me say that this is pretty accurate. Especially if you play online, you want to make moves fast to save your clock, sometimes causing you to move the wrong piece. So this most of the time will work for BLITZ chess, not sure about classic
This is when you a beginner against other beginners that memorize their moves, I remember we were taught those so we don't fall for them and not use them
The scholars mate, it helps sometimes but be careful guys, if it doesn't go as plan there's a high chance that you're losing your queen (quite clear if you ask me) but try your chances I guess lol
I like to bring my queen out early because I like to castle queenside. I'm sure it's a weakness, but I always play better castled queenside instead of kingside.
1.e4 e5 2. Qf3 is called the “Napoleon Attack” because Napoleon Bonaparte tried it against Adolf Anderssen and got absolutely blown off the board. It’s not something you want to play against an actual chess player.
It’s called scholar me and there’s two different variants, but this is the ineffective variant because it can easily be blocked with no profit by moving nf6 or with white nf3
i love how in this video the opponent doesnt do the obvious developing move for the other knight that stops mate but instead moves the h-pawn for no reason also be super careful for black's counterattack here after they stop the mate, Nd4 is a counter-attacking move that threatens the queen and also threatens to fork the king and rook, dont be afraid to move the queen all the way back to d1 if you have to and do NOT move the queen to e3 because black is winning on the spot with a king/queen fork
A person serious about chess almost immediately recognises this... it's of no use as it doesn't work 90% of the time, only when ur playing a rookie or someone who doesn't get chess that much will this work
the counter to this is simply move your knight infront of that pawn that his queen should eat , then if he eats the knight , u can eat him with your other queen as he cant eat your pawn
or just moving the pawn one square up. It doesn't matter if they capture the knight you take back with the rook, afterall a bishop is better than a knight on an open position, position that they already opened. You just have to harass the queen and develop
It’s a great concept but the king takes my queen once I take the pawn, also the bishop on the left can’t get up to c4 only c3 but I could use the other one, however still my queen gets taken by the king

“ Random moves “ something no one unless a noob does
This will work if you are facing noobs, but people asking to play chess usually won't fall for such a simple mate...
I did for a while until I understood it
I’m a noob
It’s called the scholars me by the way
I'm a noob it worked on me 😂

If anybody calls themselves "experienced chess players", or something along those lines, and falls for that, then that's on them.
This opening sums up every single 600-800 rated games that I've played
even 500 elo players have response to this
even 300-400 elo players can stop this
I played a 200 player in a 3 minute game. He stopped it
I think it's very useful now I can defeat my 2 year old brother 😤
You be loosing to a 2 year old?
Who hasn't?
It's called the scholar's mate!
Yeah, im dutch so have another name for it lol

Not blitz that's bullet bull shit
But he called the queen a pawn-😂
He said “take this pawn on f7” because he took the pawn on f7… using his queen
Fck u
I tried this with my father and I won the game
This is first time when I won from him
He was like🥴😳
ur father must be a moron
Then sorry to say but your father is not a good player
well..your father sucks at chess.
Nh6: “Am I a joke to you?”
He’s right. Practically every GM plays this opening.
If the opponent makes random moves like you said ofc your gonna win lol

Scholars Mate , Classic 💪
I start damn near every game with this and let me tell you… it never works.
😂😂 its not a good opening it can be counter attacked pretty easy
Yup, did this stuff when i was still a beginner. And i tell you what, ive never won a single game using this strat not unless againts my brother
You shouldn't bring the queen out early. So if the opponent knows this very common trap, they'll already have an advantage on move 2... as black...
I like to bring my queen out early because I like to castle queenside. I'm sure it's a weakness, but I always play better castled queenside instead of kingside.
If you want to Castle queenside it can be good in many situations, but you don't have to get your queen out early to do so..

Scholars mate baby! Chess Master,IM,FM,NM,GM's: another stupid checkmate for todays video
That's a thread right there, nobody goes on that anymore
And that's the point, my opponent is never going to make a random stupid move because I don't play with idiots
Bro thought our opponent will be 0 elo
Ah yes, the scholar’s mate. I’ve been using this for my entire life.
The end bit got me 😅
It’s called scholars mate and can be avoided by moving you knights out to to far side of the board
Well I tried to use this tactic but at the end it backfired me….😢
A good nate is like a smothered mate
1.e4 e5 2. Qf3 is called the “Napoleon Attack” because Napoleon Bonaparte tried it against Adolf Anderssen and got absolutely blown off the board.
It’s not something you want to play against an actual chess player.
Uhhh the opponent will most likely play knight to f6 to stop the checkmate threat

nf3

i like the fried liver attack over scholars mate
I tried doing this move online but at the end, the dayum King beat my Queen 😢
Dude invest in a $3 iPhone tripod stand. I’m getting vertigo watching your camera move so much
This is only gonna work if your opponent is below the rating of 300.
No one falls for that 😂😂😂
Thanks for the tips! Dude😀

The king can actually take the queen, since the king can go slanting too
The only problem is that my opponents are not making any random moves anymore
Thank you this is so great! And its not a 30 min tutorial... LOL

The bishop from another plane of existince

so first we gotta find a dumb opponent
i rather go 5h as it attacks both the pawn on 7f and 5e and you also take the rook if they do a certain move
shortest win in chess is 3-moves not 4.
1) e4 f5
2) d4 g5
3) Qh5 mate.
